John is one of the few muscians that didn't want to stay in the spot light and persued real music instead of embracing the new pop sound. I respect the heck out of him for being one of the last huge musicians to really keep real music alive. Give it everything you got on the tour John the world needs more music like yours!

Danny Shipley That's so true. He's got me into genres I didn't even really appreciate much. For those that I already appreciated, particularly blues, he inspired me to make it my own and not just be a carbon copy of the artists I enjoy. Dude is simply a master.

If I ever got to meet John, I'd want to thank him for everything he's created. Not only has he influenced me immensely as a musician, created an amazing legacy filled with heart and soul, but his music is relatable, and has helped me through some tough times.
