For sure! About to be doing a Podcast with Andrew coming up, was supposed to last week but he ended up having some stuff to do the day we planned so maybe the following week we'll be able to sit down and get it recorded, so about 3 or 4 weeks we'll have a podcast together ;) it should be really great, we have a ton of topics that people want to talk about!

Looks really good! You did take it up to 2022! Except for that wooden side console door. That takes her right back to the 90s, sorry! Just being honest, that needs an upgrade.

That ruts remover works great but when detailing I work top down because it will strip the crap out of the wax where it runs out of the scuppers down the haul. I got extra stripes when it oxidation on the fiberglass. Love the videos!

Hit all the seats up with Foaming Crystal Simple Green Industrial Cleaner and Degreaser... Found this stuff for cleaning RC cars covered in mud and gunk. It is unreal. I tested it on car seats that had blue jean dye from my wife's pants (tan/white seats) and it cleaned right off. I then used it on the bass boat seats and all my kids old shoes. It is crazy how clean it all gets... like old shoes look brand new/paint stripper for grime and stains. It is real expensive, but amazing for important cleaning jobs like seats.

Hey, Have you and Donny ever made a video of restoring a wood hull boat. I caught the video about surveying a wood hull but I would be interested in a restoration of an old Chris Craft wooden boat.

love the videos....have a question on the same lines as this last couple....I have a short fiberglass windscreen on my center console that is all scratched up from years of abuse. Is there a product you use or recommend to polish out a windscreen or am I destined to have a new one fabricated?

If t is damaged like the front Perspex of a car use toothpaste, but try an edge first, just in case.
@henninghellerud2 жыл бұрын
You mean like an acrylic or seethrough plastic? This can be rubbed/polished up. Best to use a machine for this. You can use special products for these types of materials, or products made for polishing up car headlight units. Or as mentioned, toothpaste plus water and a foam-pad is a cheaper alternative. If you use rubbing products etc the windhsield could get a blurry look. Then you just use a finer polish to make it smooth and shiny again. Remember during the whole prosess (rubbing especially) to not apply a lot of pressure on the machine as you can melt the surface if it gets too hot. (Doing it by hand wont create the friction to build up a lot of heat)

Me too. But it is called stain less. 😆 there's more than 1 grade of it FYI. One rusts less that the other

Yes. I’ve been using it for years on everything I own. Living on the coast of Aus you have to.

@nelsonromero35202 жыл бұрын
Yes. Amazon sells them, they don’t last long but that depends on how bad the decals are stuck onto the surface. Use a blow dryer and heat up the decal.

@Born Again Boating what was the gray anti slip paint used on the top cap and deck. Gives it a great touch. Need to do this on my boat cause doing sea deck will be at least 3k so this is something good to do in the mean time

All you need to do now is remove all that teak, sand it and paint it with some clear epoxy. That will seal the deal!
@henninghellerud2 жыл бұрын
I dont recommend epoxy. That could crack up and it WILL fade in the sun making it not look good after time, if its not protected.
