One of my favorite gym layouts. You got lots of equipment in a normal size garage but it doesn’t look at all cluttered. If it was my gym I might see if my wife wanted a hip abductor machine. Really nice setup!

That's always been part of my goal, to ensure the space is still fully functional. Hate when a gym has too much equipment and just feels cluttered. That's definitely a piece I'd love to pick up some day!

Cool gym, man!... Question... Do the Titan monolift safety pins line up with the Rep rack's holes? I've heard while some of these companies use standard 3x3 upraights and 1" holes, they don't always line up correctly.

My PRECOR functional trainer is in the same spot as yours and I measured many times before my purchase. I think I have like half inch of leeway between the door and rack LOL 😓😅

Your gym is really My kind of a home gym. Really Nice. I would either Get a combo leg extension / prone leg Curl instead of the leg extension or, just Get a leg curl and if you do not have anoff space I would sell All the dumbbell and Get ajustable dumbbell like nuobell and then you have more space for more equipment. But offcouse it looks really Nice as it is right now. Cool video.

Love the setup. I thought leg press? Whaaatt? But I will also buy one for 250😂. I never squated since last 5 yrs. The best machine in my opinion is latpull down with cable rows, cable bicep curls setup.

Thanks! It's actual just a normal 10mm Inzer single prong belt that I painted using stencils and fabric paint 😆 If I were to have one custom made though I'd look at either Pioneer (General Leather Craft) or Belt Fed Strength. Both companies do some fantastic custom work. Belt Fed is more leather engraving/painting and Pioneer does just about everything else 🤙

What kind of lighting do you use and do you like them? I’m focusing on the bones of my garage such as paint/lighting/wall set up such as TV and speakers do you have any recommendations on that?

I'm using 8 Sunco 5000K shop lights that I got off Amazon. For most 2 car garages you'd probably be fine with about 4 though. I just like it extra bright for filming. With regards to paint, whatever color you choose I'd just make sure to go with probably an eggshell finish. I did matte on mine and while it looks good, it gets scratched and marked extremely easily. My speakers are just a like 12 year old sound system I've had for ages. You can probably find something similar for cheap on Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, ect. Don't know about Tv's as I don't have one and probably won't put one in the garage.

Would you rather have a leg press/hack squat combo if you could? I passed a great deal because of that, I really want to optimize the space, but now I kinda regret not getting it. Same dilemma for a reverse hyper/GHD combo vs stand alone units

Personally, I've yet to see a good leg press/hack squat combo unit that I liked. All of them tend to have very small footplates for the leg press, and don't usually have a great weight rating. If I had the space, I'd opt for individual units. As for the GHD/Reverse hyper combo, if you know you'll use both I'd say most of them are great.

Using monolifts, no, but using traditional j hooks, yes. With standard j hooks here is about a 1/2" of clearance or less on either side.

I'd say machine wise cant go wrong with a peck/delt fly....although spice maybe tight....I'd probably say pull the trigger on an adjustable bench....and since your DIY skills are good...ditch the military press bench...although respect for making it...looks great....and build a preacher curl bench...some possibilities there perhaps

Fortunately (unfortunately?) my garage isn't sloped, so I didn't have to level my platform. It really sucked when we used to park our cars in it during the winter because the snowmelt would just pool under them instead of drain.

I believe it was called Raven or Raven Black from Behr. Mine is in a matte finish but I would not recommend doing matte. It shows every mark extremely easily. I'd go with more of an eggshell or satin finish if I did it again.
