Sweet setup, having a power rack with a separate functional trainer makes a home gym so much more functional. Nice work!

If you use your rings often, do yourself a favor and buy a set of rapid rings, super convenient! Thanks for sharing the garage gym, really cool to see, a great space to set new DPRs.

I own 4 home gyms: a garage gym, a basement gym, an extension room gym, and a backyard patio gym. I recommend buying and using a medicine ball rebounder, which is a lot of fun to use. However, since you have children, I don't recommend having them use it because the medicine ball rebounder I have can send a 20 lb slam ball flying 16 feet. I got a bloody nose once after I underestimated how far the medicine ball rebounder could send the 20 lb slam ball I was using back towards me after not using it for several months. If an exercise is fun, you are more likely to use it more frequently, intensely, and for a much longer period of time. A medicine ball rebounder can build muscular size, strength, and endurance, and if your husband is into self defense, it is a good way to desensitize the abdominal muscles and to force whoever is using it to contract his or her abdominal muscles, which in itself is a good exercise.

Some sort of landmine set up. I use a pin that I stick in 2 45# plates, but the rack mount ones are probably superior.

Also, a set of Serious Steel Fitness bands. I have the 12, 32, 38, and 41" versions and choose the best size for the job. The strength curve on these are awesome.

Biggins weights are good quality. They also make them with an alternate logo for those that don't like owls. You should do a review of them...

How large is your family? 😅 By 8:57 I counted one 14 yr old who beat you at 1RM bench press, and 3 daughters of weightlifting age. I think large families are amazing! It would be my number 1 priority if I was financially comfortable. I as looking for an elliptical and stumbled on your videos. My cat is not mentally right, and for her I need to squat down a lot for minutes at a time and bend at the ankle, which put much more strain on the knee, wearing down that joint. I settled for a magnetic resistance spin bike with 40lb flywheel. When I have luxury money I'm getting a Landice! But by far, knowing about your parenting gives me hope with my cat. It's a unique situation and I'm alone dealing with it.
"Hey, you wanna come back and see my garage gym"? "yes, please..." some time later... "I think I'm in love with both of you".

When I was younger I got into a terrible accident. The only place nearby was an animal hospital. My parents rushed me hoping to save my life. Turns out it was not a hospital for animals, but an ANIMAL run hospital. The accident caused severe damage to my throat, the only way they could save me was to give me the vocal cords of an ACTUAL mouse that had recently passed (R.I.P) anyways. Walked away with my life, and a changed voice. - Linds

One of the rules to learn as a man is... do not comment on a woman's appearance, specially if said woman is a stranger. It's none of our business what she chooses to get done, let alone something to discuss in a comment section about a home gym.
@jasonmckinney38765 ай бұрын
@@kidbrown2010 but when that person is an influencer and putting themselves out there, they become game for discourse and discussion. While her medical history is private, people on the world wide web are free to speak of whatever they choose. Is it vulgar? No. Is it defamatory? Nope. Does she look great for a mom and as a woman in general? Yes. But again, she does look different. And I would say about 60-80% of women have work done today. Lip Injections, botox, eyeliner tattooing, GLP-1 shots to curb appetite, the list goes on. Which gender is more concerned about their appearance? Women of course. And my question was for the audience, not her. If you don’t like it you are welcome to keep scrolling.
@kidbrown20105 ай бұрын
@@jasonmckinney3876 No they don't. Making a youtube video doesn't mean they put themselves for you to discuss her appearance. The video is about gym equipment. You are just crass and trying to justify it.
