It’s a beauty! Thanks for educating us about the Dutch Superbe. I’m in the States, and restoring a 1969 Superbe that is burgundy. Your rear rack looks different than the Prestube Minor racks you see on the older models. I’ll keep my eyes out for a Dutch model, they are beautiful!

I have a Gazelle Toer Populair. I have friends with Pashley Sovereigns. I’ve repaired both types, too. It’s a tempting comparison video to make, but I don’tthink Pashley fans would like it. Two of my own Pashleys have rusted away while the gazelle remains immaculate beside them.

Very interesting videos! I got the a Dutch maroon version that my gran used (female version) with basket carrier, and my uncle has the male version from my grandpa (also maroon). I am thinking of trying to restore mine. The covers of both of the lights are smashed. Do you maybe have ideas on how to get new light parts? If my uncle ever decides to get ride of his one, I will let you know, but both bikes are currently in Belgium, and with Brexit trade between the countries is difficult...
