That line is simultaneously great foreshadowing and a little confusing as Prescott later says they're planning to kill her: I wonder if Daddy Dearest was in on that plan or if he had a change of heart and was willing to let Whitney go once she was no longer attractive to him.

WAIT everyone is saying the ending is so stupid but you forgot something. The baby his sister had was named William. The babies were only named P names and K names respectively due to last name of the father according to kimber's mother. The sheriff helped, so logically so did the new one. Sam's dad, which is why he had so much to do when he was getting prepared for the job. Its why he didnt listen to sam. He was part of it. So who is the father of william? Sam's dad. And the men didnt share the girls, that was stated. So sam's dad spent seven years raping his daughter- which is why all her baby's were bad ones. They likely had genetic issues. The end of the story depended on you thinking about the names.

@CobaltSthenia
@CobaltSthenia 7 жыл бұрын
Metalleon 24 I used Google translate, set the input to "Detect Language," inserted "borrasca," and it says it's Spanish for "storm." But that just means Spanish has at least two synonyms for storm. Maybe it's dialectic or archaic or otherwise nonstandard. I should add that the word borrasca is also an obscure English term for a no-longer-profitable mine.

I held off watching this for so so long. I'm glad I did and also wish I didn't. If I was any younger this would traumatize me but the story is written so horrifically well and detailed that leaving it any later would be a crime. It did what all creepy stories strive to be and more. So incredibly disgusting, it left me wondering and coming up with my own gross theories the entire way through. The story has such a unique plot. The characters had me completely hooked and each plot twist had me legit gasping. Towards the end it all added up so well and I was genuinely shocked to my core. Best narration I've seen in a very long time, thanks for reading it out in such an enthusiastic tone. I'm going to like on all my accounts and sub on my main. 10/10

+DarkVioletCloud I thought that maybe Sam would come back to the town or something in like a shorter story format where he could meet his dad who's a drunk due to all the things he knows he has done. That's a way there could be another part without compromising the depressing ending in which the story needed

***** I am in such conflict due to me shipping Kyle and Kimber and my morality that incest is bad. ...Maybe it's okay since they're most likely half-siblings and/or they should never reproduce? I just want the characters to be happy.

Been listening to horror stories for years and finally listened to this one because I kept hearing this story referred to as an “incident” on the creep cast and a few other comments that made it clear whatever I listened to before it would be “Dr Seuss” by comparison. I couldn’t get into it at first a while back because of the slow burn but it’s reputation compelled me to actually listen this time and give it a proper chance. They were right. It’s not for the faint of heart. I’m still shaken up from this story and glad I listened at the same time. Horrific is the best word I can think to describe what I just listened to.

Dear Mr Creeps. You've heard this a million times but here's too a millionx1 ... you are by far the best narrator - ever. You put so much emotion into all characters & every story. You could make the worst stories ever created good! That's talent! Stay awesome Mr Creeps 👍🏻🖤

SPOILER: Blew my mind at the end to realize the mom didn’t hate Kyle. She just knew that Kyle and Kimber were half siblings and shouldn’t date. This story hurt my heart.

Idk what it is... But for some reason my mind finds comfort within this story... Whenever I struggle... Whenever I feel like I can't handle this life or world... I flee to this... I flee to drisking (however you spell the town) it's a sick twisted story yet I find comfort in it and for the entire duration of it everything just seems so simple... I feel a sense of nostalgia... Ig it may be my fucked up past and me being able to relate to the struggles and pain of the characters as they figure things out and grow up from naive innocence...

This was far the most interesting story I’ve heard, and it took a deep fucking turn bro. I cried at the end because of the letter, and that his own dad was a part of it and tried to blame his own son for Kyle. But it now explains why Kimber’s mom was against her dating Kyle, because they both started with K’s. This was fucking amazing but when it took the turn I was extremely disturbed.
