mahito is a very entertaining villain to watch and most JJK fans would agree with that statement but i can't say that "i don't want him to die" , if anything i can't wait to see yuji battle him. he's one of those characters that is entertaining to watch despite being evil but it's also so easy to hate. his dynamic with yuji is also really good. as always props to the animators for pulling through. it's a shame that the studio won't give them more time as they had requested but they're still doing an incredible job with what they can.

I feel like the best intro anime for a new anime watcher is dependent on what they watched as a kid. So many anime are just considered cartoons when you’re a kid and you don’t know the difference; like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Bakugon, Digimon, and even Naruto. You watched them because they looked cool and were often silly. So a bit more of a mature but silly anime would probably work as an intro anime a little bit later in life. I watched all those shows as a kid but slowly dropped them since I just naturally stopped watching the channel they were on, as one does when growing up. After a few years of not watching those shows I got introduced to Hetalia by a friend. Which is essentially The mature but silly anime that included things I was learning in school like countries, societies, and history. It made learning world history fun for me. I looked it up on Netflix, got dropped into the sea of anime content on there, found a bunch of the old shows I watched as a kid that I didn’t know were anime, and things just went from there. So really a lot of it just came down to how well I could understand the material in the show, how entertaining and engaging it was, and a hint of nostalgia. Looking back it is absolutely wild to me that Hetalia was somehow my intro anime but it’s a show that I still enjoy watching to this day.

i mean i think going forward ppl need to lower expectations a bit. the animators already warned us so it's no use wanting better animated fights when we all know all the terrible stuff that's going on behind the scenes. sure it's disappointing that it could've been much better but i still think that they did great with what they had, it honestly could've been much worse. i just hope next ep in specific and the rest of the mahito fight won't be too bad bc to me that's one of the best moments of the whole arc :/

Boruto is not better than Naruto; with recent chapters, Boruto has become a continuation of Naruto. Kishimoto did a really good job making Naruto about a lot of characters. Personally, I wanted to be Itachi, Minato, or Kakashi, as they were cooler than Naruto. Now that Boruto has become a character like that, the story has officially become Naruto Part 2.

the thing about the HxH ending is that it isnt truly an ending (unless Togashi was planning on writing another 2 generations of story). Its an epilogue, showing what Gons family is up to likely years after the end of the actual story. so people being upset at this doesnt make sense to me (unless theyre upset at the possibility of this being the only thing we get, and like tough shit) because the actual culmination of the story, in effect, happened before the contents of this "ending". This is basically the last chapter of Bleach, giving you a little look into the lives of the crew

Something of note on the bit about transitioning to patreon instead of YT when it comes to streams, there's bound to be people like myself who enjoy the experience of the streams / pods as they are on YT and would not nearly have the same experience as we would on patreon. Some may not want to move over to patreon entirely and would even result in some of those people canceling the membership entirely if the "members only" streams / videos on YT, are no longer on YT. There's a lot to enjoy about them being on yt and what that comes with as a viewer, it would be sad to see that taken away :(

I think theres 2 approaches to a starter anime. You go with a Jujitsu Kaisen, just say this is what a lot of anime is about, its about amazing fight scenes, power systems and abilities and great animation. Or you go for something related to what they've already seen. So you just watched The Boys? Go check out Durarara, its also very grounded, with some fantastical elements thrown in.
