I think it's interesting that the picture of Shibai has one light eye and one dark eye, and I don't think it's a shading thing. Combine that with the fact that Shibai's right eye is the light one like Boruto's dojutsu and Shibai's left eye is dark like Kawaki's dojutsu (with Boruto's dojutsu being in his right eye and Kawaki's being in his left). I wonder if there's going to be parallels with Jigen and Kaguya being linked to Shibai, and Boruto and Kawaki essentially being reincarnations of them resulting in the two halves of Shibai.

My theory is that this is why both Momoshiki and Ishiki held off on coming for Kaguya, because they had no idea what she'd created on Earth. The thing about Kaguya that I think is also true for generally most Otsutsuki is that they are just like her- an overwhelming power with very little skill because they never needed it, they'd never faced an equal. They don't fight against each other and in every world they go to they never encounter anyone who stands a chance against them. It would then make sense that Kaguya, who, as we saw, had very little skill in combat was able to nearly kill Ishiki, who was stronger than the strongest version of Naruto- because then, Ishiki hadn't done very much training. Remember Kaguya started building her white zetsu army pretty much instantly but, even after she'd been sealed, no one came to Earth to handle her. It's very likely that after Kaguya's defeat at the hands of her sons they realized that Earth was not like the other planets, and if they wanted the ultimate prize they would have to work for it. Interestingly that reflects the themes of hardwork carried throughout Naruto and Boruto and explains what Ishiki and Momoshiki and every other Otsutsuki who should be thirstin for Earth's fruit have been doing all this time, as ninja have only gotten stronger with each generation so they would have to train even harder to ensure they could have earth's chakra fruit.

When you think about it, Earth, as far as we know, has hosted at least two Ten-Tails and multiple high-level shinobi and Ōtsutsuki, including Shibai, whose remains were revealed to be on Earth by Amado. It’s safe to assume that whichever Ōtsutsuki successfully Harvests Earth’s chakra fruit will awaken divine-level power, similar to Shibai.

Yep. Even Himawari. But I think Himawari being more Hyuga gets better access to powers that could shape the very fabrics of time and space, like what Kaguya did. But also, she could embody the pure Juubi form that Kaguya failed to make in attempt take all the other bijuus chakra. What I do think, though, is that Boruto has unlocked Hagoromo’s and Ashura’s chakra, while Himawari is going the extra few miles with Hamura, Jinchuuriki and Nature Chakra. Hamura’s chakra not be as potent in Boruto as in in Himawari. Boruto hasn’t peaked of course, but Himawari has the abilities like Kaguya and her 2 sons to create new elements of chakra on the fly that Boruto is slowly picking up, but that is what’s not revealed, yet, her Chakra control and her Ootsutsuki powers that holds herself. She triggers it in an instant without any acknowledgment of the extent of her powers that may obtain later on in the new arc.

Looking at it from this perspective, you could assume that the low-ranking Otsutsuskis might be from the sub-clans hence, the reason why they're fed to the ten tails is to make the main family more powerful. However, we have Kaguya whom you could say, broke the rule betraying the clan to side with earth which in turn made the main family send out Momo, Kinshiki and Urashiki (even though he was a useless character) after her. Thinking back now, I also think Urashiki mentioned something about him being a messenger from the clan. I'm not exactly sure about this though, however it's something worth considering.

Not only is Kishimoto consistently bringing up Boruto being the sun, but we still don't really have any good information on what the sun and moon seal did, or what they actually mean. My guess at 9 minutes: kagaya gained shibais Chakra and power from the fruit on earth because it's where his body was, or because the ten tails was shibais. Either by his connection to hagoromo or by some form of karmic marking, kaguya and therfore shibai imprinted themselves into naruto and maybe even Sasuke. Add in the Chakra in hinata from hagoromos brother and you get shibai in boruto.

Don't know if Nick will see this but my theory about why earth is so interesting is not only because it's where shebai ascended it's because it's probably the only planet where two naturally accuring divine tree's appeared, the first with shebai and who ever he was with and the second was with kaguya and ishiki which is why kaguya had a special awakening of sorts even though she only fed half of ishiki to the tree and why the back up juvenile ten tails has stayed juvenile for so long because it's not a natural one but artificially created by the otsutski's which is why she told the whole story about the comet or however the story went and as you know they don't bring up things in this anime of they don't plan t explore it later even if it's a lie, so even if I'm wrong they'll be sure to go back around to it....maybe I'm forgetting already

There's also the fact that the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans are descendants of Hagoromo and Hamura so it only makes more sense for boruto to have Kaguyas chakra

I think it's simpler. I've thought for a while that it's possible Shibai is the father of Kaguya and Momoshiki. It all adds up the same way. Only 1 Jougan for some random reason. Let's say it's because the Uchiha portion of the puzzle isn't filled in.
