While I do see what you say Boruto is correct. He can't spam it like Minato because Minato focused mostly on Flying Rajin. It's his main thing. Boruto just added it to his arsonal. The more you use a justu the better you will get at that justu. Boruto does not only use flying rajin. I do think he is good at it, but I don't think he is Minato levels of good.

Minato has got lvls to his flying raijin he has a stage too which allows him to teleport faster he’s flying raijin guiding thunder which allows him to teleport things like a ten tails bomb away and he has a stage three which we haven’t seen. Allows minato wasn’t being humble about his sage mode he really meant he was about and he showed us it was true his sage doesn’t even last five seconds so we gotta stop saying he’s was being humble cos even kakashi stated sage mode to not being minatos forte.

Minato’s concern wasn’t proficiency, it was usefulness in combat; he couldn’t maintain Sage Mode for very long and it took him too long to gather nature energy, especially considering that anyone he needed to pull it out against would’ve already been able to handle the speed of Flying Raijin. It can be a similar issue here- Minato was able to fight on Flying Raijin alone because of his god-tier reflexes, Boruto may simply not have those same reflexes and thus can’t rely on Flying Raijin as a knee-jerk reaction to get him out of trouble.

Boruto's reaction speed seems incredible, even without ftg, so I wouldn't say he is hindered by that. If anything he seems as though he already had a natural affinity for speed long before he got karma, and before he became a pure otsutsuki. That in itself seemed to have boosted his stats beyond the human. He seems to me what Minato as an Otsutsuki would be like. Sure one make the argument he does not yet have the variation that Minato has, but he is 15/16 at this point. Boruto may need hand signs, but he only needs one hand, similar to Minato in his fight vs Obito (when he first escaped the chains) so I am not really willing to count that against him. Chapter 7 also seems to show that Boruto can somehow use FTG on most his gear, whether from an invisible seal (so far we haven't seen one on his sword, shuriken or pendant, very different to Minato who had to put the seal on them and they are clearly visible on Killer B's tentacle, on Obito and ofc on Minato's Kunai. Meanwhile Boruto either somehow refined the seals so as to be invisible or he can simply imbue his chakra onto objects (what the duration, prep time and limits, if there are any of those are we are as yet of course unaware) and use that as an anchor to teleport to the object. It may be the case Boruto cannot spam it as fast as Minato (though this remains to be seen, as he was able to use it at least 3 times in what was maybe 5-10 min when we first encountered the Shinju). Still it is very likely that Minato has more experience and thus finesse with the Jutsu. However, it is a plus in my book for Boruto's talent that he manages to make the Jutsu even more dangerous by hiding what objects have a seal/ ancor on them, which in my mind shows his focus on ninja tactics, i.e. using subterfuge and subtle tricks to tip a battle in his favor. He is not just Otsutsuki brawn, he is an incredibly talented Shinobi in the body of an Otsutsuki. Very potent mix. @@TheCrazyCapMaster

A better solution is to let it fade, but find a way to rewrite the other memories. Write a note and mail it to yourself "Dear Shikamaru, It's me Boruto. I didn't kill Naruto or Hinata, they are missing, but safe. I'm going to fix this soon." no mention of Omnipotence, just a quick contradiction to the memories. It shouldn't get deleted because he has no idea what is up.

I think Boruto doesn't feel he's as good as his grandfather with Flying Ryjin is because in certain fights Minato was able to use the technique without any handsigns, and use it rapidly across multiple kunai. While Boruto can only do single teleportations with concentration and at least ONE hand to do a handsign, and seemingly to only one object.

About kawaki sleeping on his potential. I think this mirrors a lot the amount of progression Naruto got during the time skip, especially when we compare it to Sasuke's progression (Boruto). This brings the folowing question, what could make kawaki progress? Beacause I doubt that he will stagnate for ever especially, since he might realise soon that his power is far from absolute with the shinju coming into the picture. So here is my bet : I think he will not make the "good" choice immediatly of training like Boruto. I rather think he might look for a new upgrade/update. And who has been doing the cyborg maintenance so far ? Amado, is the answer. This might be a futur ark who knows...

Have we ever entertained the idea that the other park of Mitsuki's DNA comes from Naruto? It would help explain the perfect snake sage and seemingly immense power that Mitsuki is displaying, which is far beyond any normal ninja. The main reason I'm suggesting this idea is Boruto's and Mitsuki's hair are pretty similar and usually that isn't a far stretch for Kishimoto. Just a quick thought and I honestly cannot remeber if it's been put forward before or if you have covered it.

I like this theory a lot! You could even explain Mitsuki’s pale complexion as Orochimaru synthesizing out the six-path essence of Naruto’s DNA, which is synonymous with the Osotsuski. Side theory, maybe Orochimaru took some of Madara’s DNA and mixed it with Hashirama cells to create that Osotsuski flair that Mitsuki has! 😁

You dont need to be naruto to be a perfect sage. And mitsuki displays immense strength because of his importance to the story and fact he isnt just a normal ninja. Hes more of an artificial human or human snake. And boruto had similar hair to sasuke so the argument of hair being similar to boruto is weak. And if mitsuki had any of narutos DNA it definitely would’ve been at least implied or scrambled somewhere in the 87 chapters the series has.

In chap 6, Shikamaru asked Ino to deliver some files regarding missions from "so long ago". Those files and other physical documents might be one part of the key to break out of omnipotence, or at the very least start questioning it. Shikamaru was looking through those files because they most likely were before Kawaki came to the village. So now he's got written proof of Team 7's missions (Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki). Anyone reading those would question how Boruto's name was on there since in their eyes, he hadn't come to the village yet.
