A secret technique is used for absorbing juubi. Which was only known to otsutsuki clan and madara. Madara taught it Obito. After their deaths. Only the otsutsuki knows the technique. The requirements seemingly was to have a rinnegan and otsutsuki blood which was passed down to senju, hyuga and Uchiha clans only. There might be a chance of Ashura amd indras reincarnations to have it. Madara learned that technique from the uchiha stone tablet with the help of his eternal mangekyou sharingan.
