Art Project as Therapy / Borut Peterlin

Dear viewers,
behind me is a very very intensive month. I had two exhibition openings, five talks about my art to different groups, from art students, photography students to wives of ambassadors in Prague. It was awesome and as you know, every time that you tell a story you make it a little bit better. Very good experience.
To my exhibition opening A New Earth - Silence came distinctive guests, Vice-president of Czech parliament Mrs. Věra Kovářová Železná, president of Slovenian parliament Mrs. Urška Klakočar Zupančič, president of the National Council Marko Lotrič , Mayor of the Municipality of Novo mesto, Gregor Macedoni, the moderator and the ambassador of Republic Slovenia Mrs. Tanja Strniša and many others and all of that would not be possible without the support of Museum of Dolenjska and the director Jasna Dokl Osolnik and the curator Katarina Dajčman. The exhibition in Prague and Brno would not happen without the support of Slovenian embassy in Czech Republic and the ambassador Mrs. Tanja Strniša.
For the next three weeks I am not resting, you know that. First week of May I have my son here in Slovenia. After I hit publish of this post I start packing for our two day trip to the forest. On Sunday I go to Valencia, to take the workshop of Calvin Grier on the new printing process he has invented. Then I take a train to Lisbon, I want to travel through landscape, through time and space, not fly over it. Another exhibition opening is on Thursday in Monsaraz, Portugal. I come home on Saturday and on Monday I have a four day workshop in Treviso, Italy. After that I will slow down, I think...

Wonderfully revealing interview Borut.
