Every video you guys always highlight the importance on tyre choice , line choice etc which is all relevant granted but thats not wjat we want to know ! Forget testing on a climb thats more down to skill and bike set up and just point it up a climb with good grip that you can replicate as close as humanly possible and see which is faster thats all most people want the answer to 👍

I agree dude, testing is a bit hit & miss, at least run multiple laps - then average. Blind tests - hide the mode tests... It's said there's no more power or torque but just changing the response settings. Guess my LEVOs have had RACE ability all along.

What peakpower in Race mode is the motor putting out... We are having issues with the CX motor when doing 50km races with Elevation.. Keeps pulling power out of motor due to battery overheating. Can you do a 50km Race Run for us on both CX and CXR motor?

you should compare to the rail after you take turbo to the max with the flow app

I tend to agree - to me 'Race' still sounds like another preset of Turbo just with the acceleration response set to max... although I suppose it feasible that the acceleration response still varies with your pedal input, but is just quicker to react [ie. rather than being 100% all the time] ?

My question is, which motor at slow pedaling offers me better assistance, on a slope, even if I stop and start again. The speed of climb seems fine, but the intention is to stop as little as possible or not at all, than to reach a top and have to catch a lot of breath. I ride 20 or 25 km with a normal bike, with a motor I think I would do 35 to 40 km, enough for me. I think a Fuzua or TQ motor, but I think I would need more torque for a 4km slope with a difference of 350m. What can you say to me? I have heard that the Yamaha answers for this.

Love the Channel and everything you guys do, but I don't think that was a very good comparison. Too technical a climb with too many variables, different tires, suspension, chosen line, rider fatigue etc. Need a hill like that Dam or Slab you guys rode up.

I don't want to have to struggle to do some unrealistically fast cadence to get the motor (race) to perform.

I weigh more than you do Steve, how much range do you lose going with the race series motor?

Still not buying it. Next year I suppose bosch will just put a throttle on it and call it "On Demand Extended-Extended Boost".

Bosch should stick to doing what they do best, making awesome hammer drills at a very fair price. I'm a big fan of their drills.

@@trosencrantz Really! Don't you know anything about Polini? First ebike and engine was developed by Yamaha in the 90's Polini has a great engine, a race engine.

Self explaining that ITs faster. ITS Like saying Eco vs turbo-which is faster.
