I'm 76 yrs old and would have jumped at the chance to make this repair in my younger days. However, the long delay in obtaining a firm date from a reliable appliance repair professional along with the uncertainty of parts availability and arrival, I was loathe to attempt this repair. But finding this step by step, well laid out video, gave me the impetuous to fight through the cramped space and unnatural body positions roadblocks. It wasn't easy but satisfying. Thanks for caring!

Good video. I learned enough to pull out the motor in minutes. 2 notes - (1) this pump is now $110 from Bosch factory store vs $180 on amazon. (2) Factory manual suggests taking out the bottom portion, which is a big effort. This is super easy

Excellent video as usual! From the Bosch website: “Many owners of the Bosch dishwashers perceive h01 (h: 01) or h02 (h: 02) and other signs as an error. But in fact, this is not an error, and you accidentally got into the start-up timer menu (delayed start of washing dishes). In this case, h01 means that washing dishes will start exactly in 1 hour; if the display shows h02, then washing process will begin exactly in 2 hours. As a rule, in most models of dishwashers from Bosch, a delayed start can be set in the range from 1 to 24 hours.”

Just replaced the heat pump. Very easy thanks to your video! However my E09 code remains on and heat seems to be lacking. Any thoughts?

Can you redo the wire connectors to the pump. Might be a loose connector👍

Great video-I made this repair and the water is hot but now instead of E9 error I’m getting E11. Machine seems to completely cycle. Is there some kind of reset needed?

Quick question, we had this same error, E 09, on our bosch dishwasher (model SHE68T55UC/07) and the repair man came out and replaced the circulation pump the same way you did in this video. He briefly checked for leaks, after everything was reassembled (not the way you did it by keeping the controller out of the way, though) and put it back into the cabinet. We used the dishwasher for a couple days and did one express wash cycle and then two normal wash cycles which are about 2hr 15 minutes, one day apart. After the second normal wash cycle, it displaced code E 15, "water tap" was flashing and the drain was constantly running. It would not turn off or reset by the control panel, so we shut off the water supply valve and unplugged it. When I looked inside, it looked like it had completed the wash cycle the detergent tab door was open, the dishes were clean and there was no standing water in the bottom, just normal about of water in the sump area. The filter was clean and the little plug in the sump area was in securely. Im going to call Monday obviously and have him come back out. Would like your opinion though, do you think maybe he didn't get the clamp on the new circulation motor tight enough, or get it seated on securely and it developed a slow leak? We've never had a leak before so it seems pretty coincidental that it happened right after the repair of the water pump. What else needs to be checked besides the circulation motor? Thanks!
