Bosch still using plastic gears on their rotex clones? The old ones were a ticking time bomb.

Good day sir I have one of these and it just stop working whilst I was using it. I’ve checked the carbon brushes and they seem to be ok, is there anything that may be a quick fix on it ?

Check your power cable and then the switch

Thanks for that I have done that by checking the continuity between the plug and the switch and tested the switch too, this seem to be fine, do you think it could be the variable speed switch ?

I am not Bosch tools fan. I had not perfect experience with Bosch tools (reliability). But many years ago. Now I am going to buy this one GET 75-150 as it seems to be product with good spec. Hmm, now I am confused. It is pretty simple tool but expensive. Why Bosch uses cheap plastic gears???
