The range can actually be reset as well, or more accurately can be recalculated, by pressing and holding the reset button.

You can reset range to. Then hé is going to calculate again

aah crap.. well the reason i looked it up is because thats how i assumed it worked... but i kept trying to do that on the Odometer. because in dutch its easily confusable between Total distance (odometer) and trip distance.

Hi do you know how to reset the text SERVICE after maintanence is done ?

Hello Bob, The only way to remove/reset the “Service Reminder” feature on the display is to have your Bosch retailer connect their dealer software to the bike. The dealer can remove this service reminder feature completely or do a reset to remind you what your next service interval is due. Unfortunately this is not something the consumer can do themselves.

I had negative cycling time and the lights stopped working. Bosch software is pretty flaky. Max speed is also way off, support stops at 23km/h instead of 25. Hope someone hacks this and writes open source replacement firmware. I'll never get a Bosch cycle again.

You may have an issue with one of the buttons or other issue on the system. Suggest having your local Bosch Ebike service centre connect their diagnostics tool to the bike to test where the issue is coming from.

That’s a drive unit error. Try removing the battery, ensure that all connections are clean and not dirty or corroded, remove display (if removable) and reinstall. If code is still present then you will need to bring the bike to your local Bosch retailer for a diagnostics.
