Can you also hear the coil buzzing (7:00) in your lamp in dim mode? My lamp placed in the corner of the room can be heard easily at the other end of the room.

Hi, yes… I think I did mention it in the video somewhere. As I remember it, the noise was very slight whine… it wouldn’t be heard in a normal work environment but if it’s a totally silent environment, it may be irritating. I think it’s caused by the circuit limiting the power on the dim setting (similar to running a battery drill at a low speed where the electronic speed control also makes a whining sound… to do with the PWM frequency). It sounds like your noise is quite loud.
