Immaculately executed tongue twister of a product name 👌

Must admit, some of the models numbers take me several recording takes to get it right.

Hi, many thanks for completing a really informative instructional video. We bought the WTH8400 dryer to replace a Zanussi dryer that we had for many years. This was a vented dryer that was operated by a twist timer dial. When we were confronted with the space age panel of the Bosch and the somewhat ambiguous instruction book we thought that we had made a huge mistake. However, after watching this instructional video it has given us renewed hope! We will try the settings anew and hopefully, with your advice, we will get it to work as we hoped it would.

Timely video as I only purchased the tumble dryer yesterday. Very helpful explanation, simple, and straight to the point! Many thanks!

Thank you for going into detail about what the various program do. Very useful, I wish more reviewers would do this.

Very helpful but it would've been nice to see you connect the hose. Also, does the hose need to be level or will the dryer pump out the water through the hose if it's placed on an elevated sink?
@lords-electrical Жыл бұрын
The hose will be fine if it is higher as it will pump it out.

I bought this exact model nearly 2 years ago from my local Euronics dealer and it has been excellent. I havent had the need to increase the drying time as they come out perfectly dry. Also something to note is that you can program this dryer what spin speed your washing machine operates at, which for my 1400 spin washer further reduces the drying time.

Great insight into the dryer, can the door be reversed. Is there some instruction available on how to do this.
@lords-electrical Жыл бұрын
They can normally be reversed but it would normally need an engineer to do it as it needs the switch moving too.
@vibraphonics2 жыл бұрын
Great video Andrew! Can you tell me whether the door is reversible on this model or any other Bosch heat pump tumble dryers? And which other brands have the door hinge on the left or are reversible?
@lords-electrical2 жыл бұрын
It looks like it is reversible but nowhere in the instructions does it mention about how to do it unfortunately

Thank you for the video. However I would have liked to have seen the drainage tube actually fitted in at the back and where it goes to. How long is the tube? I’m not sure if it would be long enough to reach over into the sink, where I’m planning to locate my dryer. Also, does it mean the dryer has to stand an extra distance away from the wall to accommodate this tube, so you would need to allow for that in ones measurements? Thank you.

Hi, great video, two things: 1) would you say this would use (approx.) half the energy that of a 12 years old dryer! Vented. 2) I’m thinking about getting this one but was going to have it in my utility room, which is connected to the house but would usually be about only 14 degrees in the winter months - is that a big deal? Thanks… 👍
@lords-electrical2 жыл бұрын
It should use approx half the energy of an old vented dryer. As far as the temperature, if it is in a cold atmosphere then it can take longer to dryer. If its gets too cold in the room especially if its very cold, then the drying process can take hours to dry.

You didn't mention the secondary fluff filter! My old Bosch only had the one.

Great video. Can you please provide details of the best functions/modes to be selected (mixed load, bedsheets, towels) to get the best results? TIA

Thank you for the great video. Is the difference between the various programs ONLY in the drying time? Can I adjust the temperature?
@lords-electrical2 жыл бұрын
Yes the main difference will be the drying time and the drum action

Hi, can I put this type of tumble dryer in the garage or does it have to be indoors?
@lords-electrical2 жыл бұрын
It can be outdoors but in the colder weather it will take a lot longer to dry the clothes
@fisharefriends5982 жыл бұрын
I can believe how inefficient the condenser dryer are now. It’s like they forced them to be less efficient. I did have an older condenser which uses as much energy as the new heat pumps. New condensers are half as efficient
@richmorris28703 ай бұрын
Just get a normal one and stick the hose out of the window
@bruno626100 Жыл бұрын
bought one a year ago and now the sump pump will only come on when you start a cycle but when the condensate tank fills during the cycle , checked the tank and it is spotless , no fluff, looks like the level switch is not telling the pump to start , it's not a float switch it's a two pronged kind of switch, therefore leaking out on the ground, not happy as it was a costly dryer.
