I just got the pro plus n a mic transmitter n I love this Bose very much. It’s my first Bose speaker. It’s extremely loud but so clear n so much bass which I just keep it all the way down because it doesn’t need more. It is so damn loud but I don’t need all that volume but nice to know it’s there for a wild party!!! Great review!!

@ 2:15 just for the info, you can press the buttons to toggle through different options like, bass, treble and volume on each channels not for muting as the presenter said. Hope this helps.

Me too. I dont really like the new Power button. Sometimes it doesnt work correctly to Power on or off the speaker. I often need to press twice

Right! Recorded by a phone mic 10 feet away from speaker, uploaded and compressed via KZbin, and played through another cell phone speaker…. I don’t know why they do sound tests period.

JBL is known for bass, but the bass on this is still good and the overall sound is better. Plus you can always buy the optional sub if you want more.

Yes, bluetooth has it's own channel and mic has it's channel. It has 3 channels. Go to guitar center and they will let you connect to it to hear how it sound.

You can connect a mixer, a power amp is not needed as they have an amp inside. Go to guitar center and they will let you plug your gear into the demo models.

I don't think the wireless mic and instrument transmitters will go down in price. They are proprietary to Bose and are on par with the cheapest, RELIABLE equivalents from other brands musicians go to for these conveniences. Honestly, $300 for both is a steal for transmitters that are made to work on this platform. GREAT REVIEW.

Anyone have heard about the Maui 5 Go ? Just saw this on IG ads. I’m still searching for the best solution for a battery powered speaker to play live solo set outside or for rehearsals (or jam sessions) but I’m hesitating between Bose s1 pro+ or the Everse 8 (which seems to be fire also)

I'm still waiting for them to put out a half size cut that thing in half I travel light as a Street Performer old. These things are heavy. If you have your keyboard, your battery, this keyboard stand your chair and the gig bag and you need a backpack with water ECT get to the subway if I'm driving it's good.

NO super deep base, it's not made for that. Although it does have base, I even turn the base down on the two I have.

Sometimes it gets stuck in power mode and it shuts down by itself too many times in 3 months I had the older version and last me for 5 years with no problem but this one plus is not recommended in my opinion

The only good upgrade I see is the app. And why couldn't they just do that via software or whatever? That being said, the original one is insanely loud, and sounds perfect with vocals for karaoke.

Heads up, the S1 pro and S1 pro+ do not wirelessly connect to each other on party mode. They are on different apps, i learned the hard way, now have to return s1 Pro+ kzbin.info/www/bejne/povCdpibmNmnhqM

These are not meant for a dance party. I have two of them they are very loud and can handle 100 people with just the two but I would not try that I do not want to run them at peak volume. I use thes as supplemental to my QSC main speakers. I place these in the back or on the side as fill and they are perfect for this. I also use them as monitors for karaoke. They are damn good. I also have the Mackie thump go which are bigger 8 inch speakers than these. The Bose sound better.
