Hi. I have one. I love it. Unfortunately my kids dropped a little water on the Bluetooth dock and now it works but doesn’t connect with the Bluetooth only aux cable on the back. Can this be fixed? Im in the States

It can but is is a real pain. I have limited spares of the 40 way spring connector that get eaten away when the dock gets wet but it is very time slow and painstaking.

There are ~three variants of the part which relate to modification state as they tried to change the build to resolve reliability issues. There are also universal input (110-240V) variants of those so there are six in total. All of them are essentially the same. However if you modify some variants to the latest mod level then you need to change values on the logic board to suit as the the Switch Mode power supply switching is synchronized to the class D switching to reduce noise and beating.

Hi there, how can this thing works without remote control? I'm trying to get one in eBay & the cheap once has no remote Any mods for this? thanks from the Philippines

You need a remote control. Great unit , powerful Bose sound but you need to buy a remote too. A SoundDock II or SoundDock Portable remote works OK. These are far more plentiful and much cheaper. That's what I use her to test SD10s.

@@razenby thanks for the reply. Can you still remember the Power amp IC this model use? I'm thinking of bypassing the digital remote system & solder an analog potentiometer at the pre-amp section. I'm interested in getting a cheap broken unit then modding it with an analog volume control system but NOT bypassing the DSP section. I will only bypass the digital volume control section. And how many volts DC is the output of that power supply?

Just watch Parts 1 to 4 of the detailed component level repairs for this dock on this channel. All the datasheets for the components are displayed. I am handing over my experience to everyone.

It looks like my snap out module is not powering the iPod, but works fine otherwise. Are replacements available?

You have to change the docking connector. I have stock if you want it changed,

I have a Bose SoundDock 10 but it doesn't turn on, the technician said the functional board needs to be replaced.BOARD 322292-001

The 322292-001 is the sound processor for the sounddock series 1 (I think) Are you sure yours is the large 10 version. If is is a series 1 (serials starts in 0357,4020,0498) then I can fix the processors for you.
