I actually seen a forum where someone said they double up their subs and put one tower next to the two subs and the other tower at least 10 feet away. I tried that this weekend and it sounded fine. This weekend I’m going to experiment with the cardioid mode, because I don’t want any bass filtering behind. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Pro 32 and sub1 or 2 sounds must better if adding t4s or t8s to them. So you can running each line out to its columns and sub sounds way cleaner and you can EQ’s and set volume on each independently. By doing so you now can put that sub match cable away I mean away for good. Because connecting them two together like being blanket over sounds so muddy. The built in DSP and crossover within them mixers not that good…

Interesting, never tried that, but after spending $3,300 on the Pro32/Sub2 I don't think I should haver to spend another $800 to run the system correctly!

True that! They are pricey for the brand by that they have a wider sound space in my opinion. I had them for awhile and just by plug and play to here and there and it sounds the same. Added t4s their mixer’s then it opened up . Love your channel by the way!

Can't add much more to the discussion because I have never heard the t4/t8, but have read great feedback on their effect on the improvement of the L1 line. I use a Mackie ProFX12 mixer. A good mixer adds the control and gain you cant get by plugging directly in.@@soonyoungtoo3957

I compared the sub 2 to my LD Dave 18G3 sub and well the bose had no chance, the 18" killed it, louder kick and deeper bass than the bose. . you need two sub2s to match the performance of an 18" sub. Sub 2 was barely louder than my PRX one 12" sub. It is probably equivalent to an 15 " but no more.

I figured as much. Can't argue with physics. Larger internal volume of an 18" sub. Of course the extra weight, 100+ lbs is another story.

Pro Tip: every time you want powerful bass, point your speaker towards a wall or aim it at a corner of a room. At least you'll get +2 DB

Pro32/Sub2-That's a very expensive busking system! Remember you would still need a good size external power supply for busking. My choice would be the JBL Eon MK2 with internal battery.kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpzCZXR-qq6DkNk Everse 12 or Everse 8 are my next choices for busking.

I would think that facing the sub 2 into the wall and under a sturdy table gives it some of the qualities of a bandpass sub, most notably increased efficiency over a reduced band of frequencies - this tallies with your comparison to an 18 inch speaker. Irrelevant as long as you can enjoy it

@@Dongian1387 That's an easy one to answer. NO! A pair of S1 Pro's top out/max headroom at 106db. Pro32 column = 129 dB. That's a huge difference! Plus Pro 32 has 180 degree throw vs 120 degrees for the S1Pro. Also Pro32 projects sound much further. Just no comparison.

Make sure to do the update. Gain staged correctly using a mixer, if you go over 1:00 on the Sub2 gain you probably need a proper 18" sub for your application.

It is usually fine at even 12 or less, but if I increase the volume level play rap or edm, depending on the song it it starts clipping and stops at almost 3 - 4 o'clock. Firmware is updated. I usually do the gain staging in advance on t4s. Thank you for your feedback.

F1 sub goes 1db louder. Sub2 goes down lower to 37Hz/F1 has more punch. Of course if you are using the S1Pro, Pro8/16 or Pro32 the Sub2 has built in High Pass frequency matching!

I should, kind of sits around, too heavy for most of my mobile use. If the gig is serious though-Sub1 stays home, and I muscle the Sub2!
