I wanted to give a quick update on this air fryer. I've had it for a couple of months now and I find it great. It actually cooks better than my last air fryer, which was pretty cheap to be honest, but it was what I could afford at the time. I purchased it in the 'rose gold' which looks copper and certainly looks better in my kitchen than the silver model. The flexibility of the drawers has worked out just as I expected. Although, for those in smaller spaces, the large drawer storage may be more challenging. I can't compare it to a better quality make, because I haven't had one. But, as I said below, unless a better manufacturer comes out with this design, then it's this or the Ometa. I don't regret my purchase at all, it covers my needs! I actually completely got rid of my cooker, and I'm juggling around my appliances so that I can now fit a dishwasher in. Yay!

That's interesting, thanks. I have ordered this and it's due today. It's a shame that other brands don't do a three drawer set up. I really am convinced that it's the answer for me. My oven is rubbish and I don't use it at all now. However sometimes, I need more space and flexibility than my current air fryer allows, which is the advantage of the duronic. I hope I like it too!

Hi Clara, on the strength of a preview snippet you left at the end of another review, I checked out the Duronic. After weighing up pros and cons I went ahead. Prime day plus promotion - got it for £89... In the short time since, the versatility, capacity and convenience of 2 + 1 drawers cannot be overstated. Yes, you've got to wonder who at Duronic gave the green light for way it looks. It's a rare achievement when aesthetics affect perceptions of quality, but hats off to the design team, somehow they managed it. Be that as it may, I took a punt and most importantly, I can report with confidence that it cooks as well as you say. It accommodates roasts, family lasagne, shepherds pie, and all with ease, just as comfortably as it does a single croissant. The control panel - again another area of the user experience where improvements could do easily be made - flashes in an unseemly way when cooking but the the truth is, it is but a quirk and within a day, it's mastered. Aside from the looks - and I went with the copper trim over the chrome - it's a win-win. The performance as an air fryer is excellent.

Yes, I forgot to mention the flashing display! 😆 Have fun with it, I really enjoyed using it. I wonder how long till Ninja and/or Cosori offer the extra drawers for the Flex drawer/Twinfry, it would be a really easy way to add value!

I've just seen this. I too, bought the copper looking trim version. So far, I have only one complaint, like you, the flashing! I have a neurological illness which makes me sensitive to light, particularly flashing lights. It amazes me why anyone would think that flashing, or bright BLUE leds are a feature. Not to mention some appliances (the duronic being one actually) with a god awful loud high pitched beep at every button press. I could have cried when I replaced my blender because the new one had a quiet beep, yay!! But it flashes in standby, because you have to turn the power button off at the side instead of just standby on the machine. My dehydrator is the same. My wonderful food processor led flashes when in use too. It makes using the appliance more difficult for me, and I don't really know what the gain is. For deaf people may be? Wouldn't a well marked 'in operation' static led not do the same job in case it isn't obvious that the blades are turning? I love my smart kettle, but it has a long blue led, the length of the panel, and more leds that light up the entire kitchen when operated. I've tried to cover the enormous light with permanent marker! I also have it on a smart plug so I can cut the whole power to the kettle by voice if needed, before I get in the room, if my light sensitivity is bad. I realise my situation isn't the norm, but flashing lights are a problem for many, and not comfortable on the eyes even for healthy people. The same as bright blue led lights, or glass shattering high pitched beeps that you can't turn off on many appliances. I do wish manufacturers would take into account these points as part of the user experience.

Great video as always 🎉 Is it only me, but every time I see dual, or split, drawer air fryers, I think “if I need that, I’ll just buy another air fryer”. I’m sure it’s not overly energy efficient, but you know what you’re getting and if one fails then you’re not left high and dry. I bought a COSORI Air Fryer Lite for £50 earlier in the year, and if I see it discounted again I’d love another one. Thanks again, as always!!! 🎉

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for a 2+1 air fryer for a while. The Ometa 3-drawer looks as though it might have a better build quality - certainly the crisper plates look more sturdy - but nobody seems to have done a review yet. (!!) 😊 😊

Adding that one to the list, so review will be coming!
@leaperrins83732 ай бұрын
It certainly looks nicer than the duronic. I couldn't see spare drawers for it though which put me off somewhat. I like the idea of being able to replace the drawers in a couple of years if they are messed up. I am the dishwasher in my home, and I am not always efficient! No matter how hard I try, there's always a build up. Also, the ometa is a slightly smaller capacity, and I wanted the option of using just one basket most of the time. I just about manage with my current 5l air fryer and didn't want to go any smaller. I'd definitely be interested in a review, but it's a bit late as I've ordered the duronic for the reasons outlined above. I would have been happy to spend three times the amount on a better quality three drawer air fryer, but it seems no such things exist!

Hello Clara, I hope you can reply to my message and that it will be understandable. I don't speak English, so I couldn't understand your video. I used ChatGPT to translate the comments and get inspired by others' experiences. I'm currently interested in buying an air fryer, but I'm hesitating between two models: the Duronic AF34 and the Cosori 10L. In your opinion, which one is better? Is the price difference between these two models truly justified? In terms of durability, is the Duronic solid and reliable over the long term? Finally, what are the main differences between these two models? What does the Cosori offer that makes it worth the higher price? Your honest opinion and advice would help me a lot in making my decision. Thank you in advance for your response and for the content you share!

Maybe this is the one I've been looking for, if I can get it at the right price. It has it downsides, but the flexibility of the drawers is brilliant and most of my cooking is done at 160-180C in my fan oven, so a 200C max isn't really an issue. I'm surprised that an air fryer doesn't have an air fry option(?!), and I would have liked a proving setting, but as 30C is fine for proving most things. It's currently priced at £113.99 on Amazon for the black and gold one, a bit more for the black and silver or the white and silver. Amazon state the minimum temperature as 50C in their comparison table, as does the information on the Duronic shop page, when yours clearly goes down to 30C, but it's not a deal-breaker and the reviews are excellent.

@@CandidClara Thank you, I didn't know that. My air fryer is so old it has one function, one speed, one fan and one heat setting! I'm just wondering how long it will be before Cosori and Ninja decided to follow Duronic's lead with the triple basket, and trying to decide whether to try the Duronic to see how I get on with a proper air fryer first, or wait a bit longer to see if the others follow suit, because I would love either of them for the additional customer service and repairs. Oh, dear. At least I've narrowed it down to three manufacturers and the larger models (I batch cook a lot). Ideally I'd like the Cosori 10L Dual Blaze with triple drawers, windows and a a proving setting! Don't want much, do I! 😄 Having decided to wait to see if Cosori or Ninja came out with a triple drawer model, I checked this one again after all the Black Friday deals had ended and it had dropped in price again from the £124.99 of that week, so with the extra 10% voucher available on the page, I decided to get one. It cost me less than £108 which, considering my halogen oven is on its way out (the bearings in the fans have start screaming and will either fail shortly or become unbearable to hear) and a replacement was around £80, the Duronic was a much better deal. It arrives tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Hello, I was intrigued to watch your review of this particular product. Mainly because, I almost bought it some time ago. So things may have changed. However, there was at least a few reviews stating that the plastic/rubber buffers on the plates and basket broke down quickly and in some cases a few times. Dear Clara. Thanks for this helpful and beautiful review. I am trying to understand which is the best airfryer for me, and I am thinking about this one, the Duronic af34 and the Cosory Twinfry 10L. My doubt is about the fact that the Duronic has the preset cooking with the various programs like "5 minutes", "meat", "fish" etc but I don't understand if it could be better to have programs like these or those ones in the cosori ( for example bake, roasted, airfryer). This is something I find very useful and i think it's a little bit strange not to have them in the Duronic. About this one I really love the e 3 drawers... so I don't know what do...however thanks a lot for your wonderful review. Cosetta from Italy

Thanks for this review! My oven is absolutely useless, but most of the time I just need a smaller basket air fryer. However, now and then I need two drawers, or one large one. This really does offer the flexibility that I need. I appreciate that it's ugly, and probably not durable. But may be it will last long enough for a higher quality manufacturer to come out with the same three drawer design. There only seems to be this and the ometa, which is smaller, and also cheap. If there isn't a quality alternative, then what is one to do? One thing to note, replacement drawers seem to be easily available at present. The crisper plates are included, which isn't always the case with other makes. No, they don't seem to be sold separately sadly, but I wonder if others would fit in a pinch. Thanks again for the review!

I really need your help. I want to purchase an air fryer…I’m struggling to decide which. Originally, I was looking at the Ninja Flex Drawer, then saw your review for. The Corosi Duel Blaze Twinfry….which lead me to the Duronic Twin Air AF34, which is now available in white - which for me is a game changer for that! However, the quality leaves me a bit concerned. That review lead me to the Ometa, but its 9L rather than 10L…then there is the style like HYSapientia 22L air fryer oven - we cook and bake A LOT, Roasts are a must! Ideally I’d like a good dehydrate function as well as air frying - OR should I splash out for the all singing and dancing Ninja Combi 12-in 1 cooker, oven air fryer?? Please help

Gosh, there's a lot to digest here (no pun intended!) I have just bought the Breville Halo Flexi which is similar to the HYSapientia, but I won't have the video out till after Black Friday. I would hesitate to recommend the Duronic for all the reasons I mentioned unless you have a very tight budget. The multicookers are great especially if your love of roasts extends to a love of pulled pork in the pressure cooker, but the downside is it's noisy and big. I think the Twinfry is probably your best bet for capacity and usability

OK,I’m back to picking your brain :-D… having thought long and hard, I’m now thinking of getting a Duel zone air fryer rather than the massive single drawer with separator option…mainly due to the separation plate not really working accurately yet temperature wise in the 2 ‘separate’ sections. For a 3 drawer option, I’ll wait a few years until Cosori and Ninja catch up :-D SO, duel zone, which should I opt for? I was between Ninja 400, and the cosori, leaning slightly more toward the Cosori…however, I wondered if the Ninja 451 is worth the extra price? I want good size drawers, dehydrate option, cooks a chicken well, each to clean, and sturdy, I am TERRIBLE at making decisions, so need a little nudge :-D

Final update on air fryers my end - I finally opted for the Cosori Dual - and honestly it was thanks to your many reviews on all of the others! I needed to really consider which would be right for me as I had to import it to where I currently live outside of the UK which meant a hefty shipping charge. Absolutely worth it! I LOVE my Cosori Air fryer. Excellent quality - comparing parts to the Duronic on your video, that alone made that decision well worth it. Maybe a few years down the line IF Ninja or Cosori create a 3 drawer system I’d get that too - I like the flexibility of having a large section AND 2 mall ones if required rather than the massive drawer being a pain to clean as its so bulky if you’ve only done a small cook- the duel has been a game changer in our kitchen! Now - next for me is ICE CREAM MAKER!!!! I’d Love to see videos of comparisons for these - have you seen the Ninja one that does soft serve??? Important element for me - dairy free ice cream options, and getting rid of the terrible fruit sorbet option being the only thing places offer for those of us allergic to lactose….I WANT CHOCOLATE or mint choc chip dammit😂

We are also a busy home of 4. 😁 You want to go bigger rather than smaller as you won’t believe how much use you will get from it! The two market leading dual drawers are Ninja’s AF400 and Cosori’s Dual Basket. Ninja make the “original” have the best customer service (you can call them and they have clever tech to see your problem via video calls!) but Cosori’s dual basket has a few more features (windows in drawers, preheat and shake reminder) and is cheaper. Neither of them will be the wrong choice and I often say to people it’s a Pepsi/Coke thing, some people just prefer one over the other! @a.keithclarke797512 күн бұрын
They are as safe as any normal oven, provided they are not used with the non-stick surfaces scratched or damaged. Also, certain foods which contain sugar (i.e. starch in potatoes) contain a chemical (can't remember the name) which is more abundant and thought to be cancerous if cooked at high temperatures. The solution is to soak your (peeled) potatoes in water BEFORE cooking to remove some of the starch. That said, AFs are certainly a better option, health-wise, than deep frying!
@aidyhoole945211 күн бұрын
Thanks for your reply, appreciated, potatoes are probably the thing I would cook the most in the form of jacket potatoes, and sweet potatoes also in jacket form. I do tend to wash them prior to cooking. I just want to enjoy my food and not be worrying that I’m potentially doing myself harm. I’m pretty healthy in all aspects of my life and I’ve already bought this model, just not used it yet because of worrying. I’ve run it with nothing cooking inside just to test it and it smell smells like plastic, but I’m assuming that’s because it’s new and it will soon disappear. The more it’s used.😊
@a.keithclarke797510 күн бұрын
@@aidyhoole9452, barring what I've previously written re the coating, there is nothing to worry about. This is not some 'new' technology (i.e. microwaves), it is only a (convection) oven in miniature form. It is normal that you smell plastic on first use, it is suggested that one initially run them (empty) on full power before first cooking in them, to get rid of the plastic smell. To remove maximum starch (sugar) from potatoes, they need to be peeled and soaked, not simply washed!

Is it just me or airfryers are kinda... unpractical in terms of cleaning? Recently I thought why airfryers have only one basket for one heat element? WHAT IF there was a second basket that was inserted to the first one (yeah just like silicone forms are used) and THEN in that second basket we would insert the grill? AND we could buy another one "second basket" for usage while already used one is in washing. Just like Multicooker and their cups. That would be so much easier to clean and maintain, why nobody does that? Its like... such on surface idea. OR if someone already has such feature - pls tell me the model.
