@@BeryIstanbulTips I have shared about your channel in the FB Turkish dizis groups. I don't know if you are aware of them or not, but there is a huge foreign following for Turkish dizis and members have fallen in love with all things Turkish, many learning the language, about the history, culture, food etc and organizing group trips to Turkey for dizi fans. I think your channel would be a great source of what to do in Istanbul for them, and even for those who can only couch visit who will never get to go there. Some dizi fans do even meet up for a Turkish meal together or weekend who are in the same country and living not far from each other.

Wonderful video, thank sharing this point of view of Istanbul! Always new and very useful information about the megapolis and how to catch easier with him 👍🏻 I just would like to ask, what time, approximately, slow walk up, it took you to get to the Castle? The ferry back is at 3pm, I am considering take this trip ☺️
@BeryIstanbulTips3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Definitely you should take this trip, is beautiful! Going to the castle at a slow pace took us about 20 min from the main port but we were stopping a lot for photos and videos. Also it doesn’t take too long exploring the highest part of the hill and were the fortress is, at the most 35 minutes depending on how many photos/videos you want to take there.

Hice este viaje a mediados de los 80 y lo repetí el pasado verano. Muchas cosas han cambiado. Pero el viaje en barco y el pueblo siguen siendo una experiencia increíble. ¡No olvides probar los mejillones fritos! / I made this trip in the mid 80's and I repeated it last summer. A lot os things have changed. But the boat trip and the village are still an amazing experience. Don't forget to taste the fried mussels!

Hi Bery, what a wonderful video again today. My wife and I enjoyed "your trip" to Anadolu Kavagi, and would love to do it next year when we visit Istanbul again. What it still not clear for me, is that the boat stops at every pier along the Bosphorus? and you said Anadolu Kavagi is the last pier, right? It means the tour takes more than 6 hours, you said the trip to Anadolu Kavagi is about two hours, also you stayed there for about two and a half hours, and the return trip is another two hours? Or, the boat comes back without stopping at every pier on its way back to Eminonu? Anyway, we liked very much your video and even take notes. Thnak you agai, hope to see you guys in Istanbul.
@BeryIstanbulTips3 жыл бұрын
Yes in total, it takes about 5-6 hours. Also on the way back it stops in every pier. But you do not feel that boat trip because you are enjoying the beauty of Bosphorus 🙂

you can take a boat from uskudar to anadolu kavagi ,it usually takes 2 hours . the ferries stops in all stops along the bosphorous.

Hi Bery, Excellent video. We really wanted to take this cruise up to the Black Sea. Good I found this one. Is that the only ticket office near the Galata Bridge? There is no name of the Boat Company but I'm trying to study the front of the ticket office.

Hello Tony. It should be this one or one right next to it. Şehir Hatları Bosphorus Cruises goo.gl/maps/X8RNiGpi7N2WPaGC8 They also depart from Üsküdar. Same company, İstanbul Şehir Hatları.

@@BeryIstanbulTips Hello Bery, We found the ticket office. It's near the Eminonu Tram 1 station. We arrived there 30 minutes before the open the ticket counter at 10:15 am. It was very easy. It was not very busy last October 2nd. It was a very relaxing cruise to Anadulo Kavagi. For the food, I bought about 3 of what you showed in your video. Probis is one of my favorites. I even brought 2 back home. Foods are so rich that we have to take it easy. Bought some fresh Baklava for my friends and for us in Arnavutkoy near the airport day before our return to the US. Good the employee wrapped the boxes so tight. Sugar melted. I put them in the freezer. It tastes better a little frozen and cold. My friend bought coffee at Efendi. I was not able to buy cushion cases unfortunately. From Suleymani Mosque, we walked down to Eminonu. We ended up in Mobile phone gadgets and medical supply streets up to Efendi coffee store. The streets were packed elbow to elbow. Instead of going into the Spice Bazaar market we walked out and had to rest at a big square. We just have to take some air. What a place! One time is enough for Eminonu, Sultanahmet and Taksim areas. We stayed in Fatih area which is quieter. We liked Goreme. Stayed there for 5 days as planned for balloon ride cancellation and tour the place at our own pace. Also took the balloon ride with Royal Balloon. Our flight was cancelled and we took it the next day. From 16 to 12 people only who could make it. It was at 7am instead of 6am. We don't have to wake up too early. The good thing, price was the same. The couple who was in the same hotel as we have were charged $100 each for their next day flight. I heard rumors that some companies even charge $200 more. Too bad. We also liked Pamukkale. We saw 2 wonders of Nature-Goreme Kapadokya and Pamukkale. I left some part of my heart in Turkey. Thanks so much for your very informative videos. Happy and safe travels. See you again on your other vlogs.
