@shakeydavesr2 жыл бұрын
Regarding multi-million dollar homes, it’s a cost/ corner cutting technique. We call them "finger painters". Whereas most commercial grade silicone and urethane sealants that is a big no-no, will void warranties. But in this application, using the tape then some cleaning/ touch-up is just fine. The tape method is cleanest and usually (if done correctly) leaves the cleaners edge.

@@UnityMotorSportsGarage I am building a 1930-31 Model A Coupe and if money was no object I would be building something like this but obviously I will never come up with this kind of money to build a engine like this which I am just putting a 302 with a AOD out of a 94-95 Mustang GT with less then a 100,000 on drive train with a set of GT 40 heads from a 94-95 Cobra. I have to do everything in segments meaning it sits in a garage tell I have the money to buy most stuff used. The tag read 3:08 gears but somehow it has 3:33s which will be fine for a car I will cruise and go to shows with. But I know this isn’t your first rodeo,,, lol. I would still have looked under base plate through the access plate opening to make sure their were no big gobs to potentially fall off and clog an oil drain/ pickup etc. Though I’m sure that the cam you’ve chosen will probably idle so smooth that you’ll be able to stand a quarter on its edge and it won’t fall over, (a roll of quarters so that is,,,lol). Thats just cool as hell!!!! I can’t wait to see that thing on the dyno. As for my alu windser still waiting for the rotating assembly and heads. Everything i order gets put on backorder. I got confirmation the GT40 is completeand ready for shipment. Marvin has my email address. I have a few questions on the old casper engine. If you get a chance ask marvin for it. Thanks again and the videos are great!!!

What year did they start making a windsor that's the 429 and would that be a steel block or cast-iron block and how would I tell thank you for your feedback
@UnityMotorSportsGarage2 жыл бұрын
Never... This is all aftermarket, using a 4.130" bore and 4" stroke you end up at the magic number... On the block it is a Diesel grade Cast iron 41,000 psi tensile strength according to Ford.. this block can make max of 460" Thanks for Watching Andy

are the piston tops and top end combustion chambers ceramic coated?

Dean on this phase one build... Everything is out of the box.. Down the Road David Vizard and myself are going to port the heads and put some Compression in it and see how far we can take this combo... DV wants to see 4 digit power NA... So we shall see what the future holds... Thanks for Watching Andy

Man I gotta say That's some Top notch work' and it's definitely badass' but One big question? How much does a setup like That cost pending That you have a good healthy Windsor to work with?
@UnityMotorSportsGarage3 жыл бұрын
Henry, to buy the kit from Hammerhead Performance Engines..(Greg Brown) depending on your setup.. Cam choice other specs.. you will around 7k that includes the rockers and valvetrain.. I give a price breakdown on my Flowtest video of these heads so you can see it there! Thanks for the kind words and watching! Andy

@@UnityMotorSportsGarage Hmnn' much nicer than a coyote swap in my foxbody mustang I wonder what the space limitations would be on that?
@UnityMotorSportsGarage3 жыл бұрын
@@henrytyson4152 it will fit easier than the Coyote... Just know you will need to have custom headers made for the car.. Andy
