Although this is mostly a super cut version of the shorter videos, (I view this as how Boss Analysis is meant to be intended, by the way) I've changed some dialogue and added additonal parts that weren't in the original versions. (Earthworm Jim, Kirby and Parodius have the additional parts, Fire Emblem and Earthworm Jim have some minor dialogue tweaks)

Here's a somewhat unusual idea for a video: Bosses or enemies that defeat the player in weird, unorthodox, or humiliating ways. The final boss of Shadow of the Erdtree can defeat you by literally brainwashing you (it even says "Heart Stolen" instead of "You Died"). Funnily enough, it's just treated as a normal death - no special cutscene or bad ending - and you even get a unique emote if you lose the fight this way.

These final bosses make you go “Wait that was it?” Also, hearing Ada Wong say “Game Over” in Leon’s voice is incredibly weird and funny. I guess you weren’t kidding when you said this save file had Ada Wong modded over Leon.

now that the individual videos and the full set are both out, ill put my opinion down for anyone who wants to hear it. i prefer longer videos, so watching the full set was a more enjoyable experience for me. that said, i can see the individual uploads finding success given lots of people like shorter videos

When you reach the heart of the evil fortress only to face a cripple. Sometimes it can work for the story, like how in Arkham Origins the true 'final boss' was TN1 Bane and the Joker fight after him was merely ceremonial. It would feel odd if he was anywhere that tough without some sort of enhancement. Better to focus on the up close and personal vengeance dealt to the mastermind behind all the chaos despite them being a mere mortal man instead of a titan.

When i think of Pathetic final bosses, one frequently comes to mind: Dr Neo Cortex from Crash bandicoot 2. The sequel might be a serious improvement over the first in every possible way, and that includes most bosses...but somehow, they really dropped the ball with the rematch against the big bad himself. Instead of a climatic encounter in the same vain as the previous fight against him, We're suddenly thrown into the jetpack that had only been used twice before this. And the controls that will take a while getting used to is the closest to a challenge about the fight. All you do is chase after Cortex and spin him three times before he gets to the end. Howerer, that's the only way to die in this fight. He never attacks you himself, and the asteroids & mines scattered across the path only stun the player for a short while. In short, the final boss is a chase sequence which is heavily rigged on the player's favor. Which, considering the otherwise improved quality of bosses before Cortex, really drops the ball. Thank good the third game picks up the slack and gives us a infinitely superior final fight.

I don't remember if those bosses were listed before or not, but there is surprisingly more final bosses that are easier or just... there. Spoilers are in order - Evelyn from RE7 is just glorified cutscene (which works for finale but doesn't for boss itself) - Didact from Halo 4 which is the same as up there, just with pressing one button instead - Time Eater from Sonic Generations for consoles is a joke. Same with Egg Robot from Lost World. - We all know of Titan Powered Joker from Arkham Asylum. - Omega from Zero 3 is a joke. Being hyped up and at the end being a joke in all three phases. Phase 2 is propably hardest of them but still not that big of a deal. - Talking about Mega Man. there is also CRO-RQ from Mega Man DOS, or Wily Machine No. I from Dr. Wily's Revenge. - Does GTA final bosses count? Because Sonny from VC and Uncle from Chinatown Wars and have to be the bottom of them. Propably there are more easiest final bosses but that's all I remember. If they some were shown before, my bad.

Future King of Renais: I remember the tales of my Grandfather Ephraim and my Grandmother L'Arachel fighting against the devil I have some ideas to improve formotis, after you defeat the original formitis he returns once more with this bonus: Can only be damaged by sacred arms and dragonstones His attacks have infinite uses and a range of 1 to 3 200 HP Attack, skill, defense and resistance at 30 Luck and speed at 25. Give the +bonus should be all 15. A 30% HP restore at start of his turn. Once every three turns he cast a sleep/berserk/petrification to all units The monsters summoned at the first turn have +10 in all theur stats
@shanegiorgio47136 ай бұрын
The only thing with that is that all those weapons are breakable, so it could technically lead to a softlock unless some of them (probably Seiglinde and Seigmund) were also given infinite durability as well.

Period/Marduk from Shin Megami Tensei Dx2. Seeing as he's the leader of a Chaos faction, the final boss of Season 2 *and* a high ranking god, you'd expect him to be a threat worthy of being a final boss. Unfortunately, the game didn't actually provide a unique encounter, with phase 1 just being represented by Fenrir and phase 2 by Horcos. These are both demons you've faced before with no fanfare and have little to no connection to his source matetial. The game even uses the normal boss theme. For comparison, the final boss of season 1 was represented by Lucifer in his Hellel form, the Law faction in season 2 has some of the most interesting story fights in the game and siding with his own faction has you fight a corrupted Metatron. Another example is phase 2 of the final boss of Hollow World. While phase 1 is a fun challenge, the next battle is just a victory lap as they came back wrong and all of their "attacks" are wallowing in self pity.

I was talking about brutal FINAL bosses such as in Boss Analysis #19. Sorry for the mix-up. For instance, some of my own personal inclusions would be: -Dark Link from Zelda II (Though this was already mentioned in a previous video) -Sonic Mania's Super Sonic Boss (Seriously, you get way too little rings!) -Evice and Greevil from Pokemon Colosseum and XD respectively (Haven't fought these two personally, and I honestly don't want to...) -Ashnard from FE Path of Radiance (You have YET to talk about this dude, and I really want you to!)
