They are the same, miracle matter just uses different parts of the sample + some others mixed with it at once

Yeah, miracle matter's theme is basically a remix of this one, that's why they even begin in the same way

Finally, a deconstruction of this song! One of the reasons it’s one of my favorite boss turned everything is that there’s so much going on in this song. Also 4:21: THIS is the part that most remixes seem to miss. I had been wondering exactly what the “deep” sound in the background was, now I know that it’s a rapid drum/bongo role mixed with the bass.

I love this, makes me like the music even more seeing how simple and complex it fits together at the same time.. Could you also make a video about Rock Star and Neo Star from Kirby 64? They both have an interesting bassline and harmony that I would love to see deconstructed

Couple fascinating things to learn about one of my favorite childhood boss themes. Never knew there were 3 layers of synths. Never noticed the bongos until now. Flute lead always seemed drunk as hell. But the beat sample sounds the same as Dark Matter's theme, which is really interesting and makes sense. In Kirby the Fighters 2, there's a remix of this called Vs. Duo Edge. It would be cool to see how that one was done.

It would be cool to see! Unfortunately, Kirby Fighters 2 has a streamed soundtrack and not sequenced, so it can't be deconstructed.

@@nolanexplorer6856 They did! A lot of Kirby soundtracks from games released in the 90s and 00s reuse sounds from previous games.
