For anyone just coming across this video, it's actually 128 presets. These were always available via MIDI but there has been a firmware update which means they are also now available via the panel.

Hey can you please help me? i received it yesterday, with last firmware 1.12 already on board..i was trying to memorize some presets over the fourth one...looks like it let me do that..i push memory button while turning time knob, choose preset 7 or 8 push memory button for few seconds..the display fast blinks so i guess it created the preset..but then i'm not able to recall it ..i push memory button, but it arrives at 4 and then come back to manual...i red manual over again but i don't find a solution...where do i make it wrong? any suggestion? Thanks !!
@nstrug Жыл бұрын
@@guitardrummer1 by default you can only select the extended presets using MIDI. However you can change the defaults with the MEMORY EXTENT FROM and MEMORY EXTENT TO functions, as described on page 12 of the manual. Just increase MEMORY EXTENT TO to 127 and you will be able to select any memory location by pressing the Memory button and then rotating the Time knob to the correct preset.

@PeteThorn5 жыл бұрын
Ez drummer2 dream pop kit but a little later in the song where it picks up and gets more present, I just copy the midi files down onto another track and combine the dream pop kit with superior drummer 3, a more punchy typical kit, and I mix it underneath. So it’s like to drum kits blended.

I have seen may videos about DD200 and DD500 and nobody talks about changing delays or changing presets, I want to know what happen if you play with one nice ambient shimmering sweet long delay and you need to change to another patch or presser or change your memory bank to another one either pressing the switch or via MIDI. Does your last ambient shimmering sweet long delay still there until vanish with the delay decay and mix your sound with the new patch, or that delay cuts abruptly off and is replaced with the new delay?? I guess it is called carryover.

Stunning demo, as always :O) Totally love it..... apart from those micro MIDI sockets. Surely they could have found room on a box that size to have standard 5-pin DIN sockets? For me it's a deal-breaker because I will always think along the lines of "I'm at a gig, and for some reason the DD200 isn't changing patches when I use my MIDI footswitch.. Oh! I'll swap the cables.. oh, wait a minute, I don't have any spare mini-jack-to-MIDI cables which I have to buy specially just for this unit... FAIL!". Nope, BOSS loses my money over some 50cent sockets.

Seems great - except for 1 glaring thing -- why (oh why?) did Boss only provide 4 slots for user presets? FOUR? It would have cost - what, another 50 cents of manufacturing cost per unit for more memory space? (it's 2019, not 1995 -- memory is CHEAP!!), to allow it to have 100 instead of 4? I would even have been happy with 10 -- more than enough. But FOUR?? Deal-breaker for me, which is a shame, cause it looks like a great toy.
@rkharper5 жыл бұрын
Its not a toy, and 4 presets are more (actually its 5, with the manual preset) than on a DD-2 / DD-3 / DD-5 / DD-6 and DD-7,if you need even more presets, get the DD-500. I own it and don't even use the presets, have my delay set on digital with tone a tad dark, slight mod, and do my "presets" with tap tempo.
