Witnessing the act of "tasting" tends be more involving if the description of the experience transcends rather global adjectives such as "nice", "awesome", "lovely" etc. that really need elaboration in terms of that actually refers to in particular to say anything much at all.

Between the RV-500 and the RV-6 and the fact that most amps have reverb I think Boss would have released an RV-200 a long time ago if there was a market for it. I bought an MD-500 when it was on sale and I suggest getting an RV-500 if it goes on sale. The Boss Tone Studio is a very efficient edit tool to dial in sounds exactly how you want them and the make a memory patch for them.

I can certainly try. Kempers are so easy to use, just load in a M.Britt or Tone Junkie profile and you’re good to go. Editing it at the moment a bit more fiddly at least till their editor comes out. And yes, you need a powered cab, but there are loads of them to choose from. Best. P

I have seen may videos about DD200 and DD500 and nobody talks about changing delays or changing presets, I want to know what happen if you play with one nice ambient shimmering sweet long delay and you need to change to another patch or presser or change your memory bank to another one either pressing the switch or via MIDI. Does your last ambient shimmering sweet long delay still there until vanish with the delay decay and mix your sound with the new patch, or that delay cuts abruptly off and is replaced with the new delay?? I guess it is called carryover.
@bradowens40054 жыл бұрын
If you switch tones by tuning the knob it's a hard shift with no carryover, but if you use the memory mode to switch between your saved presets the delays continue from the prior patch until they die out. I would assume the same goes for using midi with no hard changes between delay modes. The guys at Boss seriously knocked it out of the park with this one.

Pete: You have to do another review/demo. The software update gives it 127 memory locations not just 4. It is far beyond the pedal you demonstrated last year. These days a software update can be massive. Also, look at the Boss GT-1000 again, it has been massively updated. It is much greater than the effects device you looked at last time. It is way way better than before. Please pay attention to significant updates to important gear.

I had the DD-500 a few years ago, it is a great machine. I was too stupid to understand Boss Tone Studio then and how efficient editing on the computer could be. The DD-200 does not have that capability. But the DD-200 is designed to get results fast, easily. The DD-500 had so many sophisticated features, that then I was was too lazy and stupid to invest in the learning curve. However, since then I have seen the wisdom of the GT-1000 and all the features. I am still in the learning curve on that one. I take Ginko, drink coffee, anything I can do to be more alert when using Boss gear to appreciate all the benefits. The new Boss OC-5 is another brilliant piece of gear.
