Bought one today after long time of searching for the ultimate loop switcher. I think I have found it at last. Looking forward to see the upcoming videos.

Love these videos. Entertaining, and informative. It's like I'm at a friends house and we're figuring it out together. I just got my ES-8 and still learning the basics !

This will be interesting as I've still yet to decide on some kind of loop switching system. I enjoyed your videos on the G-Lab GSC4.

Being able to change the order of the effects opens up a whole heap of options. Reverb doesn't have to be last every time!

Just bought one used. The pdf manual online is not very helpful. I really understood how to create patches now. Thank you

I've been waiting for years for something like this I could have one set of petals run in the FX loops on 2 seperate amps w/the the OD Wha in the front of pre Amp.

Great unboxing, but is the price really that high?! Its like going on MarkL custom teritorry, or the tc G-System which already has effects in it besides the switching system...

When you figure out the MIDI, if you could do a full tutorial on the MIDI functions, I would be so grateful. I find this stuff so much easier to learn by watching as opposed to reading about it. Thanks!! Echo.

+brian patrick Full one hour demo with Midi and everything is uploading right now. There is also another way to see what loops are active... I show that in the video.

+EytschPi42 Hey. Are you interested in demoing loopers?. If yes, please check Loop Masters. They seem to be simple, effective and reliable. Also, nice to see one of your tests if by using a looper your sound improves. Due to the less cable used.

hey man, i dont know if you already fund out (i could be wrong) but, do you think if you rename the preset you could have visual feedback, but for factory reset, all loops are called boss es-8, but if you rename them for "clean" or "clean with verb", "low drive+verb", or whatever you think your brain would assimilate better for you to remember the sound on each preset, i think that could help! i love your channel by the way! congrats for your videos all the way from brazil!

Thank god! I hate PDF user manuals. I have an entire shelf in my micro closet with all the user manuals. It's the best way to easily access info on your gear. And besides, it's never a good idea to be surfing the interwebs while running a session.

With te pedals that i told you i have i will love to conect the big sky and time line to the boss and the beatbuddy after the Looper.. Out of the boss.. But can i control and conect these three by midi to control the presets change by the boss? I dont need any g lab midi Looper as you use it no? Thanks for the hep!!

When you switch from preset to manual mode it will show what loops are active in that preset by lighting the loop led's in red. Check out the ES8 user group on facebook. Theres alot of good info and helpful people.

SO tell me some truth, is the sound quality better than all the other cheaper switchers you've had? I'm about $100 away from buying the ES-8 and feel like a kid waiting on Christmas! The order routing is important for me cause I like using a Mobius in pre/post mode all the time along with all the MIDI functions.
@EytschPi429 жыл бұрын
I don't know about sound quality... haven't compared that yet... probably not worth mentioning... it is more about the features and the amazing flexibility...

After spending a lot of time checking out what Switching systems are available on the Market . The ES8 is the winner for me .What I don't like is Rolands thinking on Price . The top of the line GT 100 Multi Fx Floor Unit is available from Thomann for €509 and The innovative SY300 Guitar Synthesizer €699 , the ES8 for €689 . I just don't get it ! It's a switching system , no new Tech there ,just sockets and wires and a small midi programming unit in a case . Some of the other available switchers like the Moer GEC9 can do the same as the ES8 except for the pedal order feature and cost a lot less . Roland could ...sell the ES8 to every Guitar /Bass player with a pedalboard ...but not at this price .

I do have some concern. I have a Sweet Tea From JHS wich is a OD and Distortion in one pedal. If i wanna select one of those im afraid i can't because is a dual. so idk could you clear that up for me. by the way Love your reviews i found them very well explain it.
@MrDonc788 жыл бұрын
mod it or keep it near the looper so you can switch it on the pedal. the looper can't control that function unless the pedal has ext control over the switch. dual pedals like the dual fusion have more flexibility because of the separate outputs for each channel.
