I have a GT-1000CORE and FS7 too and they work well. I use it in toggle mode only for patch up and down and I don't connect it to power. So you can save your 9v connection for another pedal! 😁

I am trying to preset up and down with a ampero switch but it starts to bank up or down several times. Don't know if it is a problem with the hotone but it works as a stomp 4 and 5

Are you powering fs7 by daisy chain or a separate power supply?

As I continue circling around the inclination toward purchasing one of these units at the close of January 2024, there’s only one thing I would wish for. That would be some kind of a pedal device that you could plug into the input for Ctrl 4 and Ctrl 5 with *a pair of* expression pedals. Nothing like that is on the market, is it?

Hi! I have a GT1000core and i setup my fs 6 but it just works with double steps. Double step to turn on the effect and double step to off. Do you have an idea Whats going on?

I just wanted to say that I love all your videos and I think you are very informative. I recently bought a kemper Profiler stage. I think it sounds great through headphones but it sounded horrible through my powered speaker. I have a head rush 8 inch and the QSC 12.2. I sold the kemper and purchase a boss GT 1000 core. I’m waiting for it to ship out to me and I was curious , if I don’t plan on doing a lot of recording with this and I just wanna play the pedal externally into an amplifier or a powered speaker or perhaps an FRFR cabinet. Which of those options or different options that you know of would sound best with this boss GT 1000 core. Thanks again for all your great videos and information, when I watch a video of yours I truly believe it is your honest opinion and not influenced by bias at all. After all, that’s what we’re all looking for in any review. Keep on rocking !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,I’m trying to hook up a fs-6 with the gt core, I followed your steps exactly,but every time I press the foot switch the setting in the gt revert back to original and I cant seem to save it when I change it to negative 1 and positive 1. Help.

This happened to me too. Then I realized the setting was saved, but only for the patch that was active when I changed the setting. So I selected "system" instead of "patch" and the effect worked for all patches. However, this still doesn't help me do what I need to do, which is to use the FS-6 to act as extra switches. I have a liveset, downloaded from tone central, which has 10 patches. But I only have 5 switches on the GT-1000 that I can use. The bottom five patches in the liveset are invisible to my device. If I could add two more physical switches, with the FS-6, then could I access two more of those unusable patches? That's what I'm trying to do. But so far I haven't figured out a way to do it.

Unfortunately, of course, I followed everything you did exactly, and it doesn't work for me. Do you have to save it or something ? Once I exit out, it goes right back to MST DLY and PFX when I turn it off and on again. If I press A on the Fs7 after I exit out. It automatically goes into save mode and I can't tell what B does, but it doesn't go to +1 and - 1. I bought this GT-1000 Core because the GT 10B was a nightmare for me. I don't know. Maybe separate pedals with dials is all I can manage. I don't understand the technical stuff. Thanks for taking the time to do the video. If you left anything out then I'll happily pay you for info on how to get the Fs7 to work with this pedal. :-/

There is no setting for latch/momentary if you want to use an external double footswitch, like the Leadfoot FS-2, with CTL2,3. It switches from REC to CLEAR with one click^^
