I got the 100 last Tuesday and love it. It’s essentially got all the features that were exclusive to the artist with the exception of the Waza Craft speaker. Before contour and cab resonance was only on the tone studio and not the panel. I think it’s a lot of amp for the money

The thing I want most from the artist is front-facing controls :( Man I hate top controls. 99% of the time, I'm playing sitting down. It's so annoying to have to tip the amp or stand up just to see the knobs.

I have the Gen 3 having previously owned v1 and v2. This is a definite improvement over the previous iterations. They seem to have got rig of some of the frequencies you had to dial out in tone studio. But I think the biggest improvement is the feel under the fingers. Mk 1 felt a bit stiff, but this is getting closer to my Blues Cube.

This a little off topic, but can you recommend the placement of an external BOSS NS2 to replace the internal NS and what do I need to actually activate it i.e., do I need to turn on send/return for each channel? Tips welcome.

Hi juca got one of these for myself last week moving from a marshall mg and knocks the hell out of that its amazing so versitile but thing thats bugging me like you i got the midi adaptor with it too but for some reason i cant connect it to my iphone? any idea why it just keeps flashing blue when plugged in if that makes sense i look in the bluetooth settings but it doesnt appear to pair it with my iphone hope that makes sense unless am wired to pc as well not sure new to these amps so 🤷‍♂🤔

Can you run Boss Tone Studio from your Mac connected to the Katana via Bluetooth only (as opposed to being connected via USB)? Great video BTW- love your videos and your patches! Thanks!

Hopefully they update BTS to work with the Mk II Amps or someone programs some workarounds.

The hype around these is ridiculous. Boss is doing a great job pushing these via KZbin. I owned one and got rid of it. It wasn’t that good.
