Yeah, I’m pretty sure you can stack the Boost from the EQ/FX 2 with the Overdrives from the Overdrive/Distortion section. The FX 1 section also has an effect just called Solo that has tone controls from the bass and treble along with a boost. Have a great weekend! 🍻

Question for you- is it possible to use the expression pedal to activate the vibrato effect momentarily? Just like the Boss Waza vibrato pedal? (With that you can put it into ‘latch’ mode and it works only when the pedal is pressed down and when you remove your foot it stops- GREAT for brief vibrato bar style warbles without needing a vibrato bridge!) I’m thinking of this ME 90 be the just released Boss GX-10. Seems like the ME 90 is far far simpler which is a significant factor. GX-10 can do considerably more, but at the end of the day I’m just a hobbyist jazz player who dabbles in other styles

Yeah, you can set the expression pedal to control the modulation speed of any of the mod pedals including the vibrato effect. I’m not sure that you can use it in a latch mode, but you can roll between the heel and toe positions to get your desired speed. To activate the expression pedal you press hard on the toe end (like a wah pedal). There’s a pressure sensor there that toggles the expression pedal on and off. Turning the expression pedal on and off could possibly give you your latch-style momentary effect, but you’d have to play around with it. I just saw that Boss came out with the GX-10. As always, it looks really cool! It’s got a similar platform to their flagship GT-1000. The ME-90 is super intuitive though, and I highly recommend it.
