I was trying to learn parry in PvP, but netcode was so bad, that I had to parry like an hour before the attack, I lost many fights because of parry attempts, and win only a couple. While without parry I am a killing machine.

He eventualy probably went hollow but still remembered his life as an arena fighter and continued to do it, to the point where his armour and gear slowly broke down from all the fighing, leaving him only in chainmail. Key is to kill the 3 wolves ASAP then go all out on Gravetender to get his health down. When the Greatwolf shows up use the pillars of the main structure to keep him away/limit the charge attack. Most important thing is to keep mobile

The wolf would've been amazing IF there wern't two other giant wolf enemies before the boss fight. This boss fight is literally just an NPC, three wolf mobs and a giant wolf mob with a second phase. It's the closest thing to a Dark Souls 2 boss DS3 has, which is poor considering how short/expensive the DLC is.

This bosses theme is one of my favorite, I just wish that the boss itself had been a bit more engaging. Overall I think the boss is fine but it could've been better. I guess a lot of the work in the DLC went into Friede, speaking of which can't wait to see everyone's reaction to her third phase ;)

Tips..- Just stay still cycling around the large pole when greatwolf came. It can't hit you with it dash. So you can easily focus to kill the champion, just wary to your surrounding.

The claws are the best weapons for this fight. Quickly kill the wolves, then stagger and bleed the Gravetender to death(even through the shield), even before the big wolf spawns.

Actually, this boss may be lacking with the background of Sister Friede, Gael, Midir and other horrifying bosses of DS 3, but in itself its pretty challenging. First, that fucking guy is dodging all magic and can guardbreak you, secondly you have to kill him fast or you will be ganked, and even if you kill him in time, 1 on 1 Wolf is still not that easy.

I find it a bit easier than most since the gravetender is really easy to shield break. And the wolf is easy once you get the timing in those charge attacks. The breath attack is a bastard though.

That guardbreak is the worst, so little build up and it means you cannot risk blocking unless you have a really sturdy shield or huge amounts of stamina. But at least he can be shield broken easy. It's good training for PVP in a way. By giving you a very human opponent (ignoring the giant wolf)

Nat Grant-Haysey Well there's your problem. I find spears to be near useless, with so little damage at so slow a hit. If you gotta use a pole arm go with a glaive. Those are great for NPCs and players alike.

Honestly one of my favourite bosses from dlc besides the church one. It's not incredibly challenging get rid of the gravetender but honestly your focus should be on the wolf as his attacks are faster and he can get to you quicker if you still got the gravetender a live still. Great boss.

My favorite part of this fight is if you go inside the tower/structure when fighting the Greatwolf then it goes in and out of the openings when its doing it's frost dashes and I think its really fun, as I don't find this boss difficult.
