Ant is one of the guys we so NEED to keep the history of rock and roll ALIVE! Nowadays as we sit at home and create whole tracks totally on our own it's so easy to lose the so very important BACKGROUND of the rock we're creating. THREE generations is an amazing feat these days! BTW, both of us looked over at each other at 7.20 when he says "Went through my stash of Mark II's." Stash!?! (Heavy sigh... ;-) ROKKON! \m/

I'm still gutted that Macaris shop in London is no more. I brought several pedals from them. I would have liked to have brought this one from there too. But anyway, this is a great collaboration. Love Sola Sound fuzzes. Love Macaris. Love Boss. Ticks all the boxes for me! Cannot wait to get my hands on one.

Think they were talking about covid shut-down when said "closed." Also, pretty sure they moved to "the 'burbs" as we say over here in the States. Gonna miss the old storefront though, was a stop in every time we landed in the UK. We totally love knowing this backstory after all these years! Gotta go! Time to get our Ronson on! ROKKON! \m/

@@DeafBunnysBand oh yeah, they now have a shop in Haywards Heath, Sussex. But their iconic shop in Charing Cross road has closed. This is what i was referring to. Sorry for any misunderstanding. Yeah we were always in there. Literally bumped into Chrissie Hynde in there!

For this pedal they should put up a reservation website and allow only a limited number of pedals to be sold to the same person. It is not a perfect solution but it would keep the wildest speculative buyers at bay for a while

Yups The hardest part of life is actually to deliver
@bubu891364 жыл бұрын
Exactly correct. It's all hype, and people fall for it. Lots of people are already making this circuit, again. I think the Boss case is naff, as well. If Boss was making this affordable for the average guy, then that would be great, but I'm sure they will gouge people. You can already smell it.

Why even bother with putting out videos of this when there is no chance of ever getting one? These were immediately completely sold out at Andertons UK, and nowhere to be seen elsewhere USA side. Sweetwater rep said, when asked about availability, that this pedal was "discontinued". I expect these to start popping up on the 2ndary market soon at obscene scalpers prices. Figure the youtubers and select stores that got them will be making a killing on them. Glad I just got the JHS bender, get the same tone without the premium price. Guess instead of paying up the wazoo for this Boss pedal you can just go to Macari's and get the real deal and a nice story from Ant to boot.
