The TAE is my favorite piece of guitar tech to come out in the last 15 years. Absolutely incredible hunk of gear

Great simple demo, you've sold me on it. Love that it has rv/delay/comp built in. I can ditch my pedal board and just use the waza, Marshall studio classic and a Boss SD1 and get all I need. Thanks for the demo.

Thx for the feedback! Just a friendly warning.... My Waza ended up blowing up and not sure why. If you get one make sure you buy an extended warranty.

@@KelsterVonShredster Thanks for the warning re warranty, never heard of any issues with the Waza, but I know a few people have blown ox boxes. Mate of mine here in the UK has had two blow on him. All the best👍

Awesome video, man!!! I just have one question. I have a couple of 15w and 20w tube heads that sound incredible live but with the full band they don't have enough power. Could I use this unit to also increase my volume?! Thanks a lot.

Thx for watching! My TAE ended up blowing up so I got an Ironman Tone King II and havn't looked back.

@@KelsterVonShredster The Tone King Iron Man is amazing, but I need something with the effects loop to connect reverbs and delays to my old Plexi. Something like Fryette or Boss TAE.

Yea it's a pricey little devil but sure does alot. The resonance/presence adjustments do set it apart from the other "fixed" loads. Currently have a Captor that's ok but find it does tend to color the amp tone a bit, especially on clean settings. Thanks for the atten focused vid.
@KelsterVonShredster3 жыл бұрын
basically you get what you pay for. I heard the captor is decent but it sure isn't the Boss Waza or Ox.

@@kenaiello4851 yes, that's exactly it....i got rid of it before I got the Boss Waza. Maybe I'll get another one, we shall see.

can you attenuate without having your dry signal goin analog to digital conversion ? maybe using the send output in the boss waza ( i checked in the manual , it seems the send is before all the effects wich implies it's before AD conversion in the waza ) .

Seen a guy talking about his Waza TAE blowing-up. He says that he turned-up his Marshall JVM 100W into an unplugged WAZA (no electrical Voltage/Current in the WAZA coming from the wall). He says his TAE unit burned-up instantly; burnt smell and all. Sooo...An electricity outage is dangerous for the wallet: $2,000+17% tax $CAN in the dumpster and since we have an awful climate, those happen fairly often. Always, have it plugged in a sturdy/good quality power bar with an automatic OFF switch. Probably the same power bar as the amp as the Voltage/Current will shut-down at the same time for both. Basically, a tubes Amp will surge an unplugged TAE & burn the sh*t out of it.

Hi Kelster, question, does your SV20h produce these noises as in this video? kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYmWepKnipqCd8U We just tying to figure out if it’s standard. Or actually an issue with the amp.
