Your pronunciation is actually 95% spot on. Only your o in Bossche is too high, Your o sounds as the o in floss. While the O in Bossche bol sounds like the o in Mole. Nice though. And Btw, Turning it upside down will just cause the chocolate on top to be lost. My advice to eat it is... and it will be messy, Cut it in half grab the one half with your hand and shove it in your open face hole. Chew, and repeat with the second half. @Quintinohthree6 жыл бұрын
ZipplyZane Bossche Bollen are very much spherical in the Fermi approximation cows are spherical sense.
@J0k3944 жыл бұрын
The pastry is spherical. Not a perfect sphere but just a little squat, quite like a profiterole. It has a hole in the bottom from where the cream was injected, and after that it gets dipped in chocolate. The chocolate covering is then not quite covering the entire thing because it needs to be held someplace during dipping. By turning it upside down and eating it from the hole, you're supporting it at the chocolate, which gets your fingers sticky, but because you're enlarging the hole, there's no pressure building up causing the cream to squish out.

And there is only 1 Bakkery in the world that makes real Bossche Bollen... If it's not from De Groot it's not a real Bossche Bol

Funny thing; I've had them multiple times. They're _really_ filling. Like seriously, they're impressive.

I prefer profiterole's, the dough-to-cream ratio is much more even.

Great episode as always, guys! These always seem like they've only been going for about 5 minutes though and then they're over, which is probably something to do with how they give me a higher laugh count per unit of time than anything else I watch/listen to. Great job, and I can't wait for a new audio episode tomorrow, too! :D
