@@cathc3984 It sure is. I'm still numb with shock & disbelief. In the Community post that her husband, Bauke, gave us, he said that she had been riding when she was just found unconscious. She is such a skilled rider and she's always so careful with the horses, it's hard to imagine what happened. I don't want to think that it was one of the horses at Stal G. They seem to love her so much, and I bet that they are missing her terribly. It's almost been two weeks since the accident. I hope that Bauke will give us another report on her condition and prognosis as soon as he has something more to tell. I'm just hoping and praying that some really good physical therapy will get her back on her feet with all of her cognitive abilities intact. Her husband and her sweet little boys need her healthy and whole. 👁❤Friesian🐎🐎🐎and Yvonne!

@@cathc3984 Yes, I know. I'm hoping that there will be another update once Yvonne is out of the ICU and she has a treatment plan to address whatever injuries she has (including the brain trauma). I may be mistaken, but the way I understood Bauke, I thought that he said that the severity of her injury was not completely known yet, but that she was out of the coma and she recognized all of her family, which was a good sign. With a traumatic brain injury, some rehab/therapy is usually needed, and the road to recovery can be long. Yvonne is strong and brave. I'm sure she will work hard to get well fast.

Thanks Yvonne for always creating your videos and making your life so available to us that love the life of horse people. I never had a horse but my father says that that is one thing he wished he could have provided for me and he says he regrets it. This brings tears to my eyes to say this because he’s such a sweet man and he wanted to provide for me but we never lived in a place that could have a horse. I think if I had a horse in a barn I would sleep out in the barn with the horse. Probably not really but I thought that as a child. Being a Christian I believe when I go to heaven I’ll have my own horse and it will be a Friesen. I also love the Lippizanner horse. They are fantastic. I got to see one of their shows years and years ago down in the Beaumont Texas area. That’s where I grew up mostly. I live in Fort Worth, Texas now, this is where I was born. I moved back to this area in 1995. Still never had a horse but if I ever get around a horse I have to pet it and love on it. The Friesen horse seems like such a sweet breed. Can be very feisty but very people oriented as well. Thanks again Yvonne. Love your videos and love your wonderful Friesen horses. 😊💗 Also I hope Uniek gets to feeling better very soon and we get the results of the after birth and the foal soon. I like that you let Gea sniff the bottle of mane spray while you were spraying her! Whenever I use a tool on the horses I'm caring for, such as a mane brush or a hoof-pick, I always let them see and smell the tool before I use it. That way, they'll know exactly what I'm doing and what I'm asking from them before I even do it, so there's no surprise from them if I lift up their tail to brush it, or lift one of their legs to clean their hoof. Then, they can also tell me if they aren't comfortable with me doing something, instead of telling me by being difficult with me while I'm trying to do it.

Gea is absolutely 100% gorgeous 😍. And she wanted some pellets as well after all that braiding and others horses getting pellets. Like right where are mine now. They are certainly not silly they have big eyes. Risey is getting big and those ears going back he is getting very confident now. Those ponies are divine and so happy with you. You are a great mum to all there at both farms. We love you to Yvonne. 🇦🇺

You're definitely a busy, hard working lady Yvonne - pleased that Bauke recovered from Covid, and you and the boys managed to avoid it 😃😃😃. Gea's new plaits look as gorgeous as she is 😍😍😍. Loved Reintje's little whinny as she was waiting for her pellets - she's such a sweet mare and obviously adores you, as does Uniek and Risey of course 😍😍😍. It was great to see all the horses when you said goodbye to them for the day 😊😊. Your cats are exactly the same as ours 😂😂. As soon as we're eating a tuna or chicken sandwich, they are there and miaowing to say that they want some 😂😂. I bet that when you finally manage to sit down in the evening, they come over for cuddles on your knee 😍😍😍. Dieuwke is gorgeous, and had grown into a beautiful young dog 🐕🐕🐕. Daisy and Glendy are cute, cheeky fluff balls 😍😍😍.
