This song takes me back to the time, when my High School Sweet Heart, broke me. I was like that guy in the Wedding Singer, so I moved to Hollywood and got into playing with bands on the Sunset Strip. Years later, she seen me and gave me the Classic , " I made a mistake speech..... we were together from 1982 to 1987 ....so I told her write me a letter and have it delivered to me in October 1987, when I gave a crap !!!!!

Ah the memories that video brings back... When we were all young and beautiful and love was something so easy and new adventures just waiting for us meet someone new. We thought it would last forever... But then we found out about "The breading years" and not many. Then that chapter closes for us all and we all have to move on. I sang this (and many other songs) for my wife Amanda at our wedding reception. I had practiced for months on my home Karaoke system, full amp, mike, and speakers. I was so in love, I could barely make it through. Thank God the DJ stepped in to help me. I also couldn't make it through "Go Rest High on That Mountain" onm own which I sang for her recently departed grandfather. Pretty much the best day and night of my life. That was fifteen years ago. Sadly, Amanda divorced me last year. Sometimes I just check in to see if I can still sing it without crying. Not quite there yet.
