1st of all. Happy new year BNG. Absolutely bring the kid up. Why not. See what he can do.

As long as he's doing well in Providence, that's all that matters.

I wouldn’t worry. Admittedly I didn’t see much of his play during the tournament, but if he’s not being used in 3v3 OT then the coach clearly wasn’t using him right.

I didn't even notice him in any of the wj games. But is numbers in prov are great. I am not worried. Honestly would love to see a video of bruins prospects that are having a great year. a check-in on all the prospects. great video! Hope to see more soon

Good to be back! Happy New Year! Yeah they are! I think this is obviously a special team and if they can add to this group they are a Stanley Cup favorite.

I’ll guarantee you he will get more points than Smith, Nosek and Greer if he plays for the Bruins.

Nice to see you back here again. Lysell looked like he wanted to be anywhere else than at the WJHC, that being said in the 2023 deep draft, if we could get a top 10-12 pick for Lysell I would consider it, depending who would be available.

Wagner call up is due to the West coast trip. Lysell was still at wjc as of yesterday. So no chance he's joining the team for a call up on this west coast trip. My bet is that he'll return to play Jan 8th then when Boston returns home he'll get his shot.
@johnbrowne3950 Жыл бұрын
He didn't impress me. He's at last 2 years away from having any chance of making the Bruins. Did he play in the bronze medal game? Right now I wouldn't be surprised if he was used along with a draft pick before the trade deadline for the Bruins to strengthen the team before the playoffs.
@gavinrector6505 Жыл бұрын
not a shot if we trade him we don't have any prospects other than goalies in Keyser and Bussi who both have been amazing. We're turing into a goalie factory
@johnbrowne3950 Жыл бұрын
@@gavinrector6505 We don't need goalies. We need good forwards to eventually replace our aging veterans.

I watched; what I saw was that the coach did not play him, when he was on the ice things happened, a post and a crossbar drew 2 penalties in one game, yet, the coach played him seldom. Sat him for extended periods of time. IMO this Swedish team is being groomed for the wjc in Sweden next year. "If it was close we pick the younger player" Rosen (#19) who was drafted 5 spots higher in the 2021 draft also declined as the tourney progressed. This coach is in his first year at the wjc and he played those players he has been coaching for the last 3 years in the U16, U17 and U18 levels. This coach won the U18 last spring with "his" core group. Lysell had 6 points in 7 games at the wjc in August 2022 that's 4 months ago, did he get bad in 4 months ? Plain an simply there was a problem between this player and this coach; Lysell was benched in the last 10 minutes of the semi-final versus Czechia and all of the 10 minute OT when Sweden need a goal; they lost for want of a goal. At the same time this coach played #10 a ton. If you watch the games, you'll see #10 blow his point coverage on the Czechia game tying goal and, getting beat 1 on 1 on the Czechia OT winner. In the Sweden USA OT, it was #10 once again who was unable to check his man. In the bronze medal game, Lysell did not get a shift until the 12:38 mark of the first period; when he did get his first shift, it was his last shift as he he aggressively went to the boards and fought for a loose puck to help Sweden gain posession, next, he went to the net and aggressively battled as USA defender same shift, when the US gained possession, he came across the ice hard on the puck and made a hit (you decide if he should have been ejected it's on you tube) Did he get ejected deliberately because of frustration and not wanting to be bench yet again ? Why was he benched so may times during the tournamnet ? Why did he miss the 2nd and 3rd periods of one game ? Was he playing so aggressively and got kicked out this because the coach told him to ? A 49 year old man can't get the most out of a very talented 19 year old This was a coaching failure for this player, it happens.

@@johnbrowne3950 yea trade one of bussi or keyser in a trade cause they have been amazing. Also watching the bruins game one thing I think we found a perfect third liner in Frederic and bergy better win a selke again. He stops everything the kings try it’s absurd
