JT is an elite all-around player now. Dishing, rebounding, etc. He's become maybe the best passer on the team and possibly one of the best in the league. This step that he has taken has taken me by surprise. I saw the possibility of assists stepping up because of his gravity, but this dude has just skyrocketed his dishes to a new level. Across the court, no-looks to divers... it's endless. It's so fucking fun to watch. Thank you, JT, for becoming that Celtics player we all love to watch. It's really, REALLY, impressive, saying that. We expected a unique scorer when we go you. Oh, man, have we got a shit ton more.

Even if Holiday and Horford regress a bit and KP doesn’t fully get to 100% the Cs can still win the championship mainly because Prichard and White are playing at all star levels.

Great analysis John! Spot on regarding teams effort and Derrick White's off stretch. Huge difference when Derrick is playing like an Allstar seems like the whole team clicks.

I agree with you John about Coach Mazzulla trying to be careful about negatively critiquing his players(not throwing them under the bus), but even he has mentioned, twice in the last couple of postgame interviews, about Derrick White playing better the last few games. For him, that's a big statement(meaning that DW was playing poorly for the couple of weeks that you astutely mentioned). If this is the DW(along with Jrue), playing like this(like they did last year), The Celts have an excellent chance to repeat again. Obviously, an extremely big game against OKC on Sunday. Let's go Celts!

I smile every time I see you in that Caldor shirt. I dated a girl who was a cashier way back in the day. The "Blue Laws?" were just repealed. Believe it not kids, there was a time when all the stores were closed on Sunday. Really! Anyway my gf said that her Dad had made it a point to tell her that he and her parents were going to be out all day. We thought we were being so slick when she told her manager that she wasn't feeling well and couldn't finish her shift. I went to pick her up, we fooled around on the fast drive to her house, we go in her front door as opposed to the door by the garage as the stairs to her bedroom were right there. We all got the shock of our lives when we startled her parents being intimate on her living room floor! I can laugh now, but I can tell you know we were scared to death in 85 or 86. Good times. Queta was moving better than I've seen him previously. He did get called for a couple fouls, but I noticed that he did have a couple strong drives to the rim.

Possible All-Star Solutions….1 the winner of each quarter gives a prize to a teams selected charities. 2, Put defensive prizes on blocks and steals, charges or turnovers. 250K to the defensive players of the game. 3, the winners get an advantage to the salary cap in some way, 4, uncontested buckets loses the team 2 points, 5…defensive plays add points and endgame prizes.
