Boston Cream Cake

This was really delicious, the chiffon has that eggy taste that I love. I used 6 extra large eggs instead of 7 large eggs. Make sure to cool the ganache enough, otherwise it will just run down the side of the pan and not cover the custard. I made the ganache using chocolate, milk and butter because I didn’t have cream.

So far I've only made the chiffon cake part. I cut off the top top even up the cake and ate the excess. This is the best cake I've ever made! I haven't even made it into a Boston cream cake yet! I'd be happy with just the cake part honestly. It's so good. Thank you for the recipe.

The cream is easy, and really top notch. I've never had so much luck with the cream before. The cake is delicious. Been enjoying it whole afternoon - I've baked a "personal size" one. I will have to do it more often.

I've made Boston cream pie several times (so good) but I've never used sweetened condensed milk in my pastry cream. Cleaver 😉 This is a great way to make this cake using the 1 and done pan method 👍🏻 Can't wait to give your pastry cream a go. Thanks yet again... 🙏
