Boston, MA - FLEX Special Response Module

Greenwood would like to thank Commissioner Paul Burke and the Boston Fire Department for their recent order in June for a FLEX Special Response Module. This unit was delivered on 9/30/24 (just under 4 months from time of order!). The new FLEX unit was built on a Ford F-350 4x4 powered by a 6.7L power stroke V8 diesel engine. The chassis features include power steering, anti-lock brakes, heavy duty front and rear shocks, platform running boards, power locks, power windows, and driver and passenger air bags. The all-aluminum body module is 100” long, 80” wide, and 60” tall and includes Hansen roll up doors and a Whelen warning lighting package.
We continue to be thankful to provide emergency apparatus for the “First In The Nation” Fire Department and look forward to working with them in the months ahead as we have 15 more units currently on order!
