Well done Mark. In the last few years I've transitioned from power lifting to a full time running addict. Watching your transformation into a runner is super motivating. Cheers and thanks for all the great content.

What's well done? Did he qualify based on time? When? Where? Is he in based on running for a charity? There are thousands of people who train their ass off for their entire life trying to qualify for Boston. Doing it through a charity is one thing, qualifying on time is totally different. These " celebrities " who get in based on something other than time or charity s a joke.

I love the dip bar / pull-up bar with counter weights for assistance. It’s great for people who can’t do many BW reps, are recovering from an injury, or just want to go higher rep.

That's awesome. I'm 47 and I ran my first race on Saturday--an 11 mile trail race in the frozen, snowy Idaho mountains. 1500 feet of climbing, single digit temperatures, and I finished in 2 hours 15 minutes, ended up losing 5 pounds over 5 hours. When I got home I registered for a half-marathon in May. Running sucks. It always sucks, but now I can't live without it.

100% Someone who is close to me told me my marathon training was a hobby. I explained me running my first marathon dominated so much more than hobby time and the benefits I anticipated were a lot more. I like all the info thanks.

That’s awesome. I love running. I played football for years playing oline. I’ve always been a big guy. I’ve lost some weight and been running for a few years now. I did the Pittsburgh marathon last year which was my first. I’m doing it again in a few months. I met you a few years back at the Arnold classic lol. Hell of an experience. Keep it up brother.

@@misterbeane total disrespect! It's a limited field and jokers like this get an exemption who never spent years trying to qualify legitimately. There are plenty of marathons to run. Boston is special because of the time requirement. This guy thinks he's doing something special. He's not.

@@timothy5988 no I mean no disrespect meant to Mark in that I assume that he didn’t qualify.
@timothy59882 жыл бұрын
@@misterbeane I know exactly what you meant. Blowhards like Mark who put "I'm doing the Boston Marathon " on their social media like he qualified is disrespectful to all those who actually do qualify, or who spend decades trying to. Or who do qualify by time standards but can't get in because of the limited field. Then Boston let's some blow hard KZbin muscle head in who could never qualify time wise. The guy is a joke! Go run a marathon that doesn't require qualifying standards. Now, Mark can say he "ran Boston". Like he accomplished something great. Go run a qualifying 3:20 Marathon first Mark! Oh...you can't? So you'll buy your way in? Pathetic He won't break 5 hours
