Have you ever thought about pit insulated foam inside , that way you don't have to fill it up every time

I have not. That would be something interesting to try out. But I do kind of like the packability of it. And if you did that you couldn't put in the backseat or trunk anymore.

I'm impressed by the speed that little propeller set up gives you with just pedal power. I'm disabled, so I can't use that. I'm thinking a person could remove the pedal arms and create something with a u-joint and a shaft to the seated rider that would allow a person to power the propeller with a cordless drill. What this could also use is some caster wheels (possibly removable) at the back. When attached, they would then be able to pivot out of the way (so no drag). That way, one doesn't need to carry all that weight to the water. The person who came up with this was ingenious thought with a few modifications could be used by anybody--even those with limited strength. In my design, the caster wheels could also connect to the carrying case with a telescopic handle, like you see with heavy luggage. Anyway, good video. Keep up the good work. Thanks from NB, Canada. 👍✌

@@leonrichard7105 good ideas Leon! I saw someone a couple days ago with a cordless drill powering a trolling motor prop and they were scooting on a kayak. Really smart.

@@PhillipReina I haven't. I'm 245ish. A couple of smaller adults could pull it off I'm sure. Capacity is listed as 400 pounds.

I have a lono aero with the rod rack. The boat is awesome and honestly the rod rack is just over priced. Just order the inserts for the rod rack and make the rack out of PVC. It will be less expensive and it's customizable to how ever you want.

Cool thing about my plastic fishing kayak is I don't have to inflate it, or construct it, or worry about it popping with fishing hooks. And there's an electric trolling motor. But all this unnecessary extra effort and risk and stuff looks fun.

@@cornelionsqween8028 thanks for the comment! Yeah, there’s definitely more to this one. I believe I’ll prefer the hard kayak with the motor too. Testing the Old Town Auto Pilot 136 next. But, for what it and who it’s good for, I was really impressed with this one too.

@@cornelionsqween8028 some people don’t have anywhere to store a hard shell. I do but there definitely is plenty of situations where an inflatable is your only option
