I put my cart dead center, hell easier to pull that way, plus I’m not holding it up, merely balancing it.

The plastic wheels aren't great, I'll upgrade mine eventually, but it does help a lot.

Yeah there's not alot of give or grip to them. It takes a pretty good little tug and a running start sometimes to get it to clear some of the big roots in my yard. Get's the job done for a good price for me (even if I had had to buy it at $60, I was fortunate to have it given to me to test). But all I have to do is get the kayak from the backyard to the truck, over a pretty good patch of roots. If you were really dragging your boat long distances or through the woods, this would be a hard one to recommend. I also have it maxed out on the weight capacity I'm sure. That 136 Old Town is pretty stout with the motor and battery in it. I usually haul it on the kart without those in it.
