Hi Dominique, I am having a procedure done in a couple of months and I plan on talking with my plastic surgeon about Botox. No one should judge anyone about personal choices. God Blessed people like Dr. Aguilar and my surgeon with a talent to help people (men and women alike) with self confidence, pain and severe issues that have nothing to do with the aforementioned. I started getting Botox a little over a year ago and I LOVE IT! I'm 55 and have had an outer eye sag since my mid 30's. Botox makes me feel so much better because people tell me I look 20 yrs younger. What old lady doesn't want to hear that? I don't really look 20 yrs younger but it gives my eyes a lift and instead of looking old, tired and severe I look refreshed and alert. I get it and I'm not ashamed of having it done at all! Botox has changed my life!

I am in my 60's and have been doing my forehead, "11" lines and crows feet for about 5 years (once a year) from my dermatologist. He also does fillers in my marionette lines and nasal lines. He is very conservative and does it over a two week period to make sure it looks natural and that we are both happy with the results. Not trying to look younger, just not "angry" or "tired". Colleen George It does not work for upper lip, it isn't done. Usually forehead smoothing, eye brow lift and crows feet. For smokers' lines you need a co2 Laser and or fillers.

you can use it for the above the upper lip, but you have to be careful or you can get too much numbness and can develop a temporary lisp in your speech. Use Juvederm instead.

Oh my gosh! I wish I had known this when I suffered from TMJ and grinding my teeth. I might very well have saved money from preventing TMJ surgery and even more importantly not have had to endure the pain and bulging muscles as you described in the jaw area. I was treated with Botox when I had lasting effects from Bells Palsy (eye twitching ). Migraines are also treated with Botox( in some cases). Thank you for sharing this. I hope that I can help someone else by knowing this information.

Hi, have you tried epilating? You can do it yourself and I find it very effective for those areas; especially for that "peach fuzz" on the sides of the face. Emjoi makes several different models of epilators to chose from.

I am 61 and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I can't stand to wear the appliance my dentist made for me & end up taking it out during the night & throwing on the floor. My husband is constantly waking me up during the night to tell me to stop grinding. I was wondering how come my head has changed shape & my jawline has gotten more square & now I know. @redrumax -- Boy, that was cruel and unnecessary. Here another thought -- if you ever get sick (and I pray you don't), you're going to want a Board Certified Surgeon to take care of you. I know nothing about this surgeon (in real life), but I can tell from his manner that he is very thoughtful, caring and (I am sure) experienced. I am also sure that he has SEVERAL advanced degrees. Doctors and nurses (and teachers) HELP PEOPLE... you might want to keep this in mind. The doctor probably spent 20 years in school and advanced training to get where he is.

Funny, I just left my neurologist's office. I had 6 syringes of Botox. I suffer from chronic migraines. She ALWAYS misses my wrinkles! Darn! However, if I'm ever the back of my head, occipital area, traps, etc will look good. You're beautiful doll!!!

I would love to try it but afraid of not getting the right person. I've had two cosmetic procedures in my 66 years. One to get rid of a hump on my nose and Lasik eye surgery and both were a disaster. My nose caved in on one side and my eyes I developed floaters (which is now shown as a side effect from Lasik which develops after 10 years).
