Bots getting ready for work after Maintenance (SoD - Lone Wolf EU)

Season of Discovery has a massive Botting issue and it looks like Blizzard is doing absolutely nothing.

Since a lot of People seem to be confused what the bots are doing in this clip. They're using the Tree as cover to fly-hack upwards and then over to SFK, where they noclip under the terrain and loot chests to then vendor the items looted for profit. Rinse and Repeat.

I maphacked ONCE in wrath, didn't mine anything or gather any resources, barely even flew through the ground. I got banned later in the day. They already detect for people going to far under the mesh. They just don't want to reasonably ban. These bots are making their paid numbers go up. I haven't played since SL. I should've stopped playing back in Cata or MoP though tbh.

@@billypoker7822 Using popular bots is dumb, they analyze patterns (which is normally unique to each different bot program) and when they're confident it wont false flag people they auto-ban anyone matching said pattern (they obviously use other methods too). Spend an hour learning AutoIt, tons of viable farms with next to no programing knowledge needed to create a bot to do it automatically. Been using my own program for ~5 years with no problem, at 1.2k SOD gold just letting it run overnight while I sleep :).

There's nothing Blizzard can do to fix the tree directly, because the tree is completely fine. Bots is editing the in-game memory to actually remove this tree locally, thats why they can go through it

they clip into tree because there is no collision on the ground inside the tree, so they can from that fly they ever they want. is my guess at least.

@@svens3722 well unless theyre fly hacking they would just fall through the world in that case. i think it looks like a logout skip of somekind. some places in the world if you log out while hugging certain objects it will TP you to certain graveyards or dungeon entrances etc.

And they were literal flying. @sobe they find a way to manipulate their ingame position coordinates that the collides miss or even put them on the other side. Most likely that is the easiest spot to get under the map from that spawn point and after that they enable their speed hacks and fly hacks and fly at Mach 10 underground and out of sight to whatever instance or area they are going to be farming.

That's a bad take, large majority of playerbase doesn't buy gold but rather it's very few who do spend insane amounts of $$ for GDKPs, enough for the botters to profit. The root cause is blizzard for not banning them before they can profit (you can easily do that with a few gms)
