Great vid as always. Absolutely stunning footage of the wildlife. Leopards, elephants, Zebra, Lions, the most beautiful birds and more. Always interesting and informative and the sighting of the Mama leopard and her precious little cub were so so special. Thank you so much.

Hi fantastic trip and sitings. A question. Do I leave your gazebo up in the camp when you go game driving. I always worry about someone else taking the Campsite when we are out on a drive. Thanks.
@TheSafariExpert2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Patrick. Yes, I always leave mine up and have luckily never had issues. And if I find someone else on my campsite when I get back, I have some tricks to get them to leave quickly 😏

Beautiful episode! How did 'Frikkie' do with all the weight on the roof? That looks a bit terrifying. 120kg+ just on the rear side of the FR rack 😵💫

@@TheSafariExpert very impressive, I have been debating whether to add a second double jerry can holder on my rack... food for thought. Would be 80 kg (jerry cans), 50 kg tent and 5 kg gas bottle... 😵 While you are here, just wanted to thank you for your all the work you put into these episodes - such a refreshing, unique channel - I really appreciate your kindness/gentleness in nature. Just finished up the one where your wife arrived in Maun and loved that little detail with your excitement to have her with you exploring Kwai! Watching so many historical videos to now, it is so clear how insanely good you are getting at capturing magic moments - door mount and gimbal next up. Stoked to see what is next 😎
@TheSafariExpert Жыл бұрын
@@elusiveleopard, thanks for the kind words 🙏🏻🙂 It’s for people like you that I make the videos. Have you watched the Botswana Trip 2022 series as well?? Regarding the roof rack - remember that Ji and I didn’t have a rooftop tent on ours, making it significantly lighter. Enjoy the rest of the channel 😁

What’s your favorite lodge in the Okavango delta,chobe,linyati,seilnda,kwando region I’m going there
@TheSafariExpert2 жыл бұрын
Thandi, I really like Khwai River Lodge in Khwai, Lagoon Camp in Linyanti and Savute Elephant Lodge in Savute. I don’t really know the lodges in the Delta that well.

Great video - and happy to meet this leopard again, we saw her on August 28 near to the khwai river. We saw that she is lactating, but we couldn't find the cub. What time did you take this pictures? (Edit: it was in October, right? so the cub must have been very small end of August and well hidden). Love your videos - greetings from Germany
@TheSafariExpert2 жыл бұрын
Yes, Bele - it was in mid-October that we saw her, so that little cubby must have been a newborn when you were there. I’m glad you like the videos 🙏🏻🙂

Great Vid and lovely shoots too , Can you please give a rough idea of the cost in magotho camp and it's a fair pricing ? Thanks
@TheSafariExpert2 жыл бұрын
I think Magotho was about 450 Pula per person per night, which I think is reasonable considering how amazing game viewing is in the area. Remember, there’s also no park fees.

Your videos are really nice , i want to visit botswana but with high rate of hiv in the country i'm a hessitant , should i worry about that ?
@TheSafariExpert Жыл бұрын
If you ask me, there’s virtually zero risk of contracting HIV in Botswana if you are just going as a tourist on safari, but take a moment to read through this website and familiarise yourself with the ways that you can contract it: www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/transmission.html
