Both Botttas and Zhou would have been competitive in a better car and capable pitcrew/team. They were given zero opportunity to show what they could do as drivers. Actually looking better in the Alfa-Romeo era.

I'm surprised Sauber is still based on Switzerland...wasn't their location a logistical issue in seasons passed as well? Hopefully Valteri gets back on the grid somehow, this shouldnt be how it ends for an experienced race winner with plenty of tread left on the tires. Great stuff as usual, mate 👍

Because Peter Sauber had to rebuy it from BMW b4 stepping down. But yeah Audi are fools if they think they can come in and do well w/o completely revamping that team

honestly, not even max or lewis would have done better in those cars. Zhou is a far better driver than he could show, and Bottas, bears no need to prove his skill. Im sad for both of them.

I think bottas could do well at Cadillac but i don't think he will get a drive there. I think they will choose colton herter and k mag. Kevin drove for Cadillac in wec last time he was out of f1 and is going to drive for them inwec next year too. Also k mag's dad drove for Cadillac for a long time so the family relationship is there.

I don't know how much input AUDI has at Sauber but I wish people would stop mentioning both names in one breath. AUDI will have completed the 100% take over in 2026 and then we will see what happens to the team.

I completely agree. Binotto, I’m sure is a very nice man but his ability to win in F1 is non existent. I was surprised when Audi hired him. And seriously, why wouldn’t Red Bull snatch Bottas up? He’s the perfect #2 driver. He’s quick and he plays the game.

Audi doomed to fail? Long (term) answer, No! Short (term) answer, They're probably unlikely to hit the ground running like Caddilac will and therefore will "evolve" over the season(s) like the other teams. Caddilac are the "new" team to watch with regards to thier entry as they have a developmental jump on everyone atm. Bottas is managed by Toto so I kind of foresaw his move to "reserve driver" at Merc'. Great vid as always :)
