The pot and the tree seem to compliment each other. Fascinating little tree and the added bonus of flowers.

Well, that is indeed a beautiful tree! The flowers were stunning and I hoped you learned a lesson on not to neglect your insanely gorgeous tree! Glad to see you back. I was kind of worried about you as you stated quite vehemently on doing 30 bonsais in 30 days. Your slacking off probably meant work on other stuff on your property. You don’t have a lazy bone in your body! Cheers!

One meal a day? geez no wonder you feel like you have been slack. No energy from a diet like that! Anyway why on earth are you on a diet in the first place?? haha Sorry ignore me I'm a 70 yr old mum of two grown sons and I tend to quiz them too.😜 Your Bottlebrush Bonsai is stunning, so many flowers! You babied it well. Captain Cook are tough little Aussies, planted heaps of them back in my 20's. Wish I had bonsaied one or two then!! Love your videos and all the newsy bits about your property, wind breaks etc. Thanks for all the info!

Ha ha yeh when I loose the winter belly it's a handy little tool. 😉 I know how you feel. At my old house I planted 100 stock trees and shrubs in the ground for bonsai and most would be ready to dig😭 New owner has left them in so I guess he loves the Forrest that is now 25 ft tall 🤣 Too scared to knock and ask if he wants to get rid of any 😄

Other thing i was going to ask. Worm juice Question.i have just been buying some local off few people. Cheap as. Does what the people throw in to feed the worms etc... make big difference in how good juice performs.
@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke4 жыл бұрын
Hi mate I guess yes to a point. Probably more important is the fish emulsion. Power feed is also a great product. I think mixing between different types of fert gives the tree a great balance 😃

I would hazard a guess that Olive hasn't taken because you have it in full sun, the tun tree appears to be in a more shaded area 🤔👍
@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke4 жыл бұрын
No mate just natural selection. No need to shade them. Been working on them for years and know them well. The more sun normally the quicker they pop. Cheers Sam

Hi mate. I can't really answer tge flower question. Their are a lot of varieties of bottle brush trees?? For me this one wants to flower in spring no matter what. Another I have, used to flower well until I dug it. It now grows well but no flowers 🤔🤔🤔
