Rik Mayall and Ade Edmonson, two of the brightest jewels in the British comedy crown. They’re absolute genius and one of the funniest duos ever. There is no better gross-out, juvenile and violent humour out there. They were in a league of their own. Bottom is an absolute classic, I’ve seen it through hundreds of times and I’ll never tire of their crazy antics.

Cant remember the ep but they do go to a Love Bureau when Richie says he's the Duke of Kidderminster and extremely rich haha, he sells a kidney to pay for the caviar and the person Eddie got to do the job re-wired his whole system and it backfired, so just before Richie finally gets to 'do it' he has a heart attack 🤣

I know. I’ve long since finished this series. Every single episode reaction is available on patreon for $1 a month without the writing or background music, or available on this channel with the stupid annoying copyright cloaking. Either way you’ve got a lot of catching up to do. But it’s definitely worth it for my final verdict on the show.

Red dwarf and Alan partridge were candidates in my recent Patreon voting competition out of which we got blackadder, on the buses and keeping up appearances. Alan partridge was knocked out in the first round with just 8% of the votes and Red dwarf reached one of the three finals, losing to Blackadder 64%-36%. As for requests for new tv series I’m only accepting requests from patreon members in tiers $6.19 a month tier or higher due to having 17 different tv show reaction series’ running simultaneously on the schedule at the moment. However I have had more enquiries about tv series requests so I’m considering adding the ability to make paid requests for them in the future but for a higher price. For a single video the cost is £2 (£1.50 atm as part of a special offer for March) so I might add the option for tv shows for £5. Keep an eye out for any information on this. 👍🏻🙂

Love that you compared Gimme Gimme Gimme to Bottom. They are both in my top 3 comedies of all time, this being no.1 and GGG being 2nd. You will absolutely love Bottom as it goes on, there are some truly mind blowingly funny moments to come!

I actually enjoyed this more than I expected to! As a first episode, it hasn't won me over just yet, but the bathroom scene was the hook for me! The nose hair, the scrap, the fucking mirror! 🤣 brilliant! Also... I don't know if you watched it as a kid, you might have done since you're only a couple of years younger than me, do you remember My Parents Are Aliens on CITV? One of those lesbians was Sophie! Btw, if you don't know/remember that show, ignore that last bit 🤣 Overall, I'm intrigued to watch some more of this! They remind me of 2 of my brothers, always going about looking gormless looking for a shag... Actually, come to think of it, my brothers were more like Kevin and Perry! 🤣But yeah, this was fun, it's not something I'd choose off my own back whilst browsing for a new series to binge, but as it came by your recommendation I thought I'd give it a whirl, and where better to watch a comedy than alongside you! I can watch things with that weird writing because we had a VCR when I was a kid, and one time it desperately needed a Head Cleaner tape, remember those? But we couldn't find one, so I once spent a week watching Scooby Doo and Rugrats cassettes through crackly speckles of static 🤣 its a bit like a widescreen DVD, ya know, the ones that look like you're watching through a letterbox? You stop seeing it after a while, I'm the same with the writing so I'm not gonna complain... Admittedly, it'd be better without, but reasons are reasons! I enjoyed this, you're awesome, and I'm looking forward to watching some more! All the best, lad! Xx❤

Hello mate good to hear you liked this! I highly recommend that you watch the Patreon versions though, there’s none of they stupid writing on the screen or background music, bottom is one of my “cheap super six” which is 6 shows (Bottom, Gimme Gimme Gimme, The Young Ones, Father Ted, Mind Your Language, and Afterlife) all available in my cheapest tier, which means you get S3 of GGG unedited too. Plus a lot of other stuff, and there’s more than just those shows! You also get to make requests for things for me to watch! It’s just a better experience than with the stupid ©️ cloaking. 😀

I know that it’s annoying on here but you absolutely CAN watch these with me without the copyright on Patreon! I’ve made all my bottom reactions available without any copyright cloaking in my cheapest tier on Patreon which is $1 a month. Basically 75-80 pence a month! Plus there’s a lot of other content on there too! I did S2 E2 of bottom last night. It was great!

These two brought stage theatre (and stupidity) to tv … it’s worth checking out very early Rik and Ade in the young ones etc but I’d definitely recommend the bottom live shows.. so them in order mate, you won’t regret it 😆👍
